The strongest early Black Friday fashion offers announced in 2024 came from Macy’s, Kohl’s, Zara and Amazon, but each was tied to a specific sale window and, in many cases, selected merchandise. Macy’s listed discounts across coats, suits, shoes and accessories; Kohl’s ran an early-access event November 8–10; and contemporaneous coverage highlighted Zara clothing and shoe deals. These are historical examples, not current prices or proof of present availability.

Macy’s: broad discounts across seasonal fashion
In its November 14, 2024 announcement, Macy’s said Black Friday Now and Black Friday offers ran through November 30. The retailer also described overlapping phases: Parade of Deals from November 11–28, Black Friday Starts Now from November 14–23, Black Friday specials from November 24–30, and Cyber Monday from December 1–3. Kohl’s: a short early-access window
Kohl’s Early Access event ran online and in stores from Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10, 2024. The announcement listed up to 40% off select Tek Gear and adidas, 50% off sleepwear, 60% off jackets and coats, and 40–50% off party-ready clothing. These offers applied to selected merchandise during that event. Zara and shoe examples from November coverage
Glamour’s November 13, 2024 Zara roundup covered early offers on blouses, dresses, outerwear, jeans and shoes. Its named examples included a knotted crepe top, satin-effect slip dress, textured-weave bomber jacket, relaxed mid-rise balloon jeans and bow-trim slingbacks. Amazon’s 2024 event timing
Amazon said Black Friday Week ran November 21–29, 2024, with savings continuing through Cyber Monday on December 2. Its announcement described deals across more than 35 categories, including fashion, and mentioned Levi’s among popular brands. What the advertised percentages can—and cannot—tell you
A headline percentage is not enough to identify the best value. Macy’s and Kohl’s described selected merchandise, and the cited coverage does not provide comparable price histories across retailers. A higher advertised markdown therefore does not establish that an item had the lowest price or was a better purchase than a smaller markdown elsewhere.
For geographic context, PwC Ireland’s November 2024 survey found that 35% of surveyed Irish consumers listed adults’ clothing and shoes among planned Black Friday/Cyber Monday purchase categories. In the same Ireland-specific survey, 51% said a discount of 25–50% was their threshold for calling a promotion a “good deal.” These figures describe surveyed Irish respondents, not shoppers globally.
