What was the APPSC GDMO 2024 deadline?
The advertisement was dated 8 August 2024. APPSC’s notice of 28 August extended the online application deadline to 1 September 2024 at 17:00 and said all other terms and conditions remained unchanged. The APPSC recruitment portal also lists 1 September 2024 as the prescribed last date for advertisement 049/2024.

What changed for Dental Surgeon posts?
An APPSC addendum dated 23 August 2024 addressed a court order in WP(C) No. 328/2024. The Gauhati High Court’s order of 14 August directed that one Dental Surgeon GDMO post remain vacant until final disposal of the case. APPSC consequently stated that the Dental Surgeon total was reduced to eight, subject to the final judgment. That figure was conditional, not an unconditional final vacancy count.
