If you want a lower-cost stand-in, e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush is the cited budget pick for a similar cream-flush effect, while Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush is another cream-only option. Neither recreates the original’s paired crème-and-powder format, and the available comparisons do not establish exact shade matches.
What the Patrick Ta product actually includes
Patrick Ta names the product the Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo. It contains a crème blush and a powder blush, which the brand says can be worn separately or layered, with crème applied over powder. That distinction matters when shopping for a dupe: a single cream or liquid may approximate one part of the look, but it is not a format-for-format replacement.
Sephora also describes it as a powder-and-cream blush duo and recommends the Patrick Ta Dual Ended Blush Brush, sold separately. The brush is optional; it is not required to use the duo.
Which alternatives come closest to the effect?
| Product | What it may replace | What it does not reproduce |
|---|---|---|
| e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush | A budget liquid-blush route to a cream-flush effect. The June 15, 2026 DupeLuxe roundup names it as its leading budget option. | It is a single liquid, not a cream-and-powder duo. The roundup describes it as faster-setting and less dewy than Patrick Ta’s crème. |
| Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush | An affordable cream-blush alternative, according to the same roundup. | It does not include a coordinating powder, so it cannot reproduce the paired format. |
| Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush | A single-liquid option for shoppers seeking a dewy flush, as described by the roundup. | It is not a cream-and-powder pair; the roundup says it is only slightly cheaper. |

How to choose a dupe without overpaying
- If you mainly want a cream flush: Compare e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush and Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush by the texture and finish you prefer. Neither supplies the original’s matching powder.
- If finish matters most: The roundup describes e.l.f. as faster-setting and less dewy than Patrick Ta’s crème. Consider that a meaningful difference, not a minor packaging change.
- If you want a dewy liquid effect: The roundup includes Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, but it remains a single liquid product rather than a duo.
- If you want the layered cream-plus-powder approach: None of these cited alternatives is shown to reproduce that paired format. A cream-only or liquid-only purchase will not include a coordinating powder.
- If you are matching a specific shade: Do not assume a dupe has an equivalent shade based on product names or broad color descriptions. The cited comparison does not establish shade-by-shade matches; look for comparable swatches of the exact shades in similar lighting and on a similar skin tone.
How to apply the original duo
- Choose whether to use the crème, powder, or both; Patrick Ta says the formulas can be worn separately.
- For the layered method, follow the brand’s stated order: apply the powder first, then layer crème over it.
- Use a brush if you prefer; Sephora recommends the brand’s Dual Ended Blush Brush, which is sold separately. You do not need to buy that specific brush to use the product.
