Argos lists Friday, 27 November 2026, as this year’s Black Friday date, but its event page does not confirm a current LEGO discount. Check the exact set’s live price, availability and offer terms before deciding whether to buy now or wait.
Are the Argos LEGO deals in this headline still available?
No. The headline matches a T3 article published on 18 October 2021, and its prices are historical. T3 reported selected discounts ranging from 20% to just over 30%, including these examples:
| Set | Price reported in 2021 | Discount reported in 2021 |
|---|---|---|
| LEGO Ideas NASA International Space Station | £48.75, reduced from £65 | 25% off |
| LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender | £110, reduced from £160 | £50 saving |
| LEGO Jurassic World T. rex Rampage | £165, reduced from £220 | 25% off |
T3 also reported 20% discounts on selected LEGO City, Duplo and Friends sets. These are figures from that 2021 article, not verified current Argos prices. Read T3’s original 18 October 2021 article.
When is Argos Black Friday 2026?
Argos’s Black Friday page gives Friday, 27 November 2026, as the event date and says more details will be available closer to the time. It does not establish that any LEGO set is discounted now or will be discounted then. Check Argos’s Black Friday 2026 page for updates.

Promotions can change between campaigns. For example, Brickset reported a selected-set buy-one-get-one-half-price offer through 26 May 2026 and a separate 20% offer with code red20 in an article dated 20 May 2026. Those promotions have ended; they are not evidence of current prices. See Brickset’s dated promotion report.
How to decide whether to buy a LEGO set now or wait
- Find the exact set. Match the product name and set number; similarly named sets can differ in model, contents and price.
- Check the current listing. Confirm the price, stock, delivery or collection availability, any offer badge and the promotion’s end date on Argos’s listing. The event page alone does not establish a product-level deal.
- Put the discount in context. Compare the offer price with a dated prior price or a clearly identified retailer reference price. A percentage off, by itself, does not show that a price is the best available.
- Read the terms for that offer. Check what the badge or guarantee actually covers, plus delivery charges and return conditions, before treating a deal as final.
- Compare the cost of waiting. If a set is available at a price you consider worthwhile, weigh that against the possibility that a future promotion may not include it. The 2026 event page does not promise a discount on any particular LEGO set.
What Argos’s past Black Friday terms do—and do not—tell you
Argos’s published FAQ and terms describe its 2025 campaign, not the 2026 event. For 2025, Argos said the event ran from 31 October to 2 December and that included products carried a “Black Friday” badge. Its Price Guarantee badge referred to a displayed price not going lower before midnight on 25 December 2025; eligible customers would receive an Argos voucher for the difference if it did. The 2025 terms also allowed 30 days from collection or delivery for standard returns, subject to conditions. Do not assume these dates or terms apply to another campaign: read Argos’s terms for the applicable event.
