There are no verified Cyber Monday 2026 PS5 deals to report as of October 8, 2026: Cyber Monday is still ahead, and the available deal coverage is from 2025. Sony’s current US recommended prices are $649.99 for PS5, $599.99 for PS5 Digital Edition, and $899.99 for PS5 Pro, effective April 2, 2026. Treat those as comparison baselines—not sale prices—and confirm any retailer offer, stock and item condition before buying.
What PS5 deals are available right now?
No specific PS5 console or game discounts for October 8, 2026 were established. The Tom’s Guide page with the “Best Cyber Monday PS5 deals” framing is a 2025 live blog, updated December 1, 2025; its prices are historical, not current offers. TechRadar’s corresponding 2025 page also says Cyber Monday is over. Neither supports a claim that a deal is live now.
Sony’s 2025 Black Friday promotion covered consoles, games, accessories and PlayStation Store offers through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. Sony said the offers ran for a limited time and that prices and availability could vary. That is past-sale context, not evidence of 2026 discounts. See Sony’s 2025 promotion announcement.
Use Sony’s current prices as the US baseline
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced regional recommended prices effective April 2, 2026. For the US, the figures below are list-price baselines, not confirmed retailer prices or discounts.

Choose the right PS5 before comparing savings
A lower headline price is only useful if the console has the features and contents you want. Confirm the exact model and configuration on the retailer listing, rather than comparing every product labeled “PS5” as if it were the same item.

PS5 Slim with a disc drive
Choose a disc-drive configuration if you want to play physical PS5 games or use discs you already own. Check that the listing explicitly includes the drive and note whether a game or other bundle item is included.
PS5 Slim Digital Edition
The Digital Edition is a distinct configuration listed separately in Sony’s price announcement. It suits buyers who plan to get games digitally, but compare its total price with a disc-drive model if physical games matter to you.

PS5 Pro
The Pro is a separate, higher-priced model. Compare its cost with the current local recommended price and assess whether its features matter to your use; a discount on the Pro does not automatically make it the better-value choice for every buyer.

How to check a deal without mistaking a price for savings
- Confirm the market. Check that the listing ships to your country and compare its price with Sony’s recommended price for that region, not a foreign price or an old launch price.
- Match the exact configuration. Verify whether it is Slim Disc, Slim Digital or Pro, and whether the disc drive is included.
- Check what the bundle contains. Identify included games and accessories, and compare the package with buying only the items you actually want.
- Check seller, condition and stock. Confirm who sells the item, whether it is new, refurbished or open-box, and whether it is available to order. Open-box hardware may cost less, but may be second-hand and show cosmetic damage or wear.
- Record the price and time you checked. Retail prices and inventory can change. A “live” deal claim should identify the retailer, exact item, condition, price and check time.
Where to check for game discounts
For digital games in the US, start with the official PlayStation Store deals page, then open the individual game listing to confirm its current price and offer terms. The page alone does not establish that any particular game is discounted on October 8, 2026. For a physical game, check the exact edition and seller; a digital sale and a disc copy are not automatically comparable.

Cyber Monday 2026 has not happened as of October 8, 2026, so no 2026 Cyber Monday price or stock claim can be made yet. Sony’s 2025 announcement shows that its past promotion included multiple product categories and participating retailers, with regional variation, but it does not predict the timing, discount or inventory of a future sale.
