Mattel introduced its LeBron James Barbie Kenbassadors doll in 2025 as the first release in the Kenbassadors line. It is a collectible likeness of the basketball star, with a tall Ken body, outfit accessories, a display stand and a Certificate of Authenticity. The original reported launch price was $75, but later Mattel product pages showed different prices and sale states, so check a retailer directly for current cost and availability.
What is the LeBron James Kenbassadors doll?
Mattel identifies the product as the LeBron James Barbie Kenbassadors Doll, product number HRM33, released in 2025 and recommended for ages 6 and up. Mattel describes a LeBron James face sculpt on a “Ken Tall” body. The doll cannot stand on its own; a stand is included, along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Mattel Creations credits Javi Meabe as doll designer and Charis Ceniroz as packaging designer. The product is positioned both as a collectible and as a representation of a prominent athlete in the Ken line.
What does the doll wear and include?
Mattel’s US shop page describes a bomber jacket with the number 23, checkered pants and statement sneakers. It also lists sunglasses, a fanny pack, a bracelet and headphones, and calls out “WE ARE FAMILY” and foundation branding. The page says the package contains one doll, one stand and one Certificate of Authenticity.

Those details should be treated as source-specific descriptions, not combined into a definitive brand-by-brand inventory.
Why did Mattel launch a Kenbassadors line?
Mattel Creations calls James the first doll in its Kenbassadors line; the Associated Press reported that the 2025 release kicked off the series and described James as the first professional male athlete depicted in a Ken doll. Mattel’s shop frames the collection as celebrating influential Ken figures creating positive change.

That framing reflects Mattel’s stated purpose for the line; it is not an independent assessment of the impact of the doll or the LeBron James Family Foundation. James told the Associated Press on April 9, 2025, that positive role models can help young people see what is possible through hard work and dedication.

What should collectors check before paying?
- Identity: Match the listing to Mattel product HRM33 rather than relying on a similar headline or image.
- Condition: For a boxed collectible, review photos and read the seller’s description for box wear, seal condition and any missing pieces.
- Included items: Mattel’s shop package description lists the doll, stand and Certificate of Authenticity; check that a resale listing confirms what it includes.
- Price context: Treat the $75 launch figure and the later $81 Mattel Creations page display as dated reference points, not a guide to today’s value. The reviewed sources do not establish scarcity or resale pricing.
