Which Assam Grade III admit card was released?
Scroll.in reported on January 6, 2025 that admit cards had been released for the Grade III (Technical) 2024 recruitment. The Assam DHS notice index lists a technical admit-card notice dated January 3, 2025 and a download-link notice dated January 4, 2025. The exam was reported as scheduled for January 12, 2025. These are historical dates, not confirmation of a current release.

“Grade III” alone is not enough to identify the right ticket. The official DHS index also has a separate Grade III (Non-Technical) admit-card page dated February 4, 2023. Its later site review date does not make that old notice current. Technical and non-technical notices, as well as recruitment handled by different directorates, should not be treated as interchangeable.
Where to look for the correct admit card
Use the official DHS website as your starting point and open its recruitment notices. Select the notice that matches your advertisement or recruitment year, appointing directorate, and post category. The official pages reviewed include a DHS recruitment archive, a separate Grade III (Non-Technical) admit-card page, and a technical admit-card notice identified by its title in the official index.

The legacy download destinations linked from the old non-technical page and the 2025 news coverage have not been verified as active, authorized portals for a current cycle. Do not assume an old direct link applies to a new recruitment; use it only if the matching official notice confirms it.
How candidates accessed the January 2025 technical ticket
Contemporaneous reports described a login-based process for the January 2025 technical cycle. Scroll said candidates should enter their login details; The Times of India specified an application number and password. If an official notice or your own call letter gives different steps, follow that document.
- Open the official recruitment notice for your cycle and category.
- Use the download destination provided or confirmed by that notice.
- Enter the requested application or login details, then download and check the admit card.
- For the January 2025 exam, reports advised candidates to print the ticket and bring photo identification as specified on it. For any later exam, follow the instructions on your own admit card.

Their reported end times conflict: Scroll gave 12:30 p.m., while The Times of India gave 1:30 p.m. The available accounts do not resolve the discrepancy, so neither time should be relied on as an authoritative duration. - Recruitment year: Match the advertisement or cycle, not just the post name.

The Times of India reported 1,708 DME and 919 DHS Grade III technical posts for that recruitment, totaling 2,627. Those figures are secondary-source reporting and are not independently confirmed here against a readable official notice; they are not a way to determine whether a download link is valid.
