Verdict: Hirose Financial UK Ltd. is a legitimate, FCA-authorised UK brokerage—not an unlicensed scam. The genuine company is HIROSE FINANCIAL UK LTD, company number 07423885, and its FCA Firm Reference Number is 540244.
That conclusion applies only to the correctly identified UK firm. The FCA has warned about a separate clone called Hiroseoption, which copied Hirose Financial UK’s identity. Trading with the genuine firm is still high risk because it offers leveraged forex CFDs, and its website states that 74–89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider.
Is Hirose Financial legitimate?
Yes. The UK entity is an active company registered with Companies House and is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Its verified details are:
| Item | Verified detail |
|---|---|
| Legal name | HIROSE FINANCIAL UK LTD |
| Companies House number | 07423885 |
| Company status | Active |
| Incorporated | 29 October 2010 |
| FCA reference number | 540244 |
| Registered office | Salisbury House, 29 Finsbury Circus, London EC2M 5QQ |
| Official UK website | hiroseuk.com |
| Retail contact email shown on the official site | [email protected] |
You can independently check the company on Companies House and verify the FCA authorisation using the FCA’s Financial Services Register. These checks matter because scammers can copy a real firm’s name, address and FCA number.

The FCA clone warning: Hiroseoption
The FCA has specifically warned about Hiroseoption, a clone firm using the domain hiroseoption.com and the telephone number +1 (713) 364 4183. The regulator says the operators copied details from Hirose Financial UK and falsely claimed to represent the authorised company.
The clone was not connected to Hirose Financial UK. Customers dealing with it would not have the same access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or potential FSCS protection that may apply to an eligible customer of an authorised firm.
Do not treat an FCA number displayed on a website as proof by itself. Before sending money, compare all of the following with the FCA record:
- The exact legal company name.
- The website domain.
- The telephone number and email address.
- The registered and trading addresses.
- The legal entity named in the account-opening agreement.
A different domain, an unsolicited intermediary, pressure to deposit quickly or instructions to pay a person or cryptocurrency wallet are reasons to stop and verify the firm directly.
Hirose Financial UK is not the same as the Japanese Hirose company
Hirose operates through more than one legal entity. The Japanese company, Hirose Tusyo Inc., is associated with the LION FX business and is registered with the Kinki Finance Bureau under Financial Instruments registration No. 41.
That Japanese registration is not the UK firm’s authorisation. For the UK brokerage, the relevant identifier is FCA FRN 540244. The entities have different regulators, customer agreements and potentially different protections. A review or advertisement referring to Japanese registration No. 41 does not establish that a UK customer is contracting with Hirose Financial UK Ltd.
What does the UK broker offer?
The current UK retail website presents three products:
Rank #2
- BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET, FUTURES, STOCKS, FOREX, OPTIONS & CRYPTO: 4X is a mindset and process journal, not a strategy tool tied to one instrument. The plan, the trade log, the deep dive and the weekly review work the same whether you trade ES, EURUSD, SPY or BTC. Traders use it across all five markets every day.
- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. Weekly reviews now grouped with each week's trades, so no more flipping back and forth. Crisp, darker print that's easy on the eyes after hours on a screen. A Quick-Start QR that scans straight to step-by-step instructions.
- NOT A NOTEBOOK, A COMPLETE 12-WEEK SYSTEM: Start with a one-time 9-part Trading Plan (your market, setups, risk rules and discipline checklist). Then twelve identical weeks: five Daily Logs, five Deep Dive trade pages, and a two-page Weekly Review. 189 guided pages, roughly 80 trades. Guided prompts walk you through every step. You never stare at a blank page.
- RATE YOUR EXECUTION, NOT YOUR RESULT: Your platform tracks the P&L. Nothing tracks the why. Log energy, sleep and mindset before the open; grade every trade A to F on whether you followed your plan, not on whether it won; then face the pattern every weekend with START / STOP / IMPROVE / CONTINUE. That review habit is the edge. You're 42% more likely to hit a goal you've written down.
- BUILT TO LAST, ARRIVES GIFT-READY: Vegan-leather hardcover, 100gsm bleed-resistant paper, two ribbon markers and an elastic closure band. Bound to lay flat so you're not fighting the spine while you write. 189 pages, 5.75" x 8.5", carries in a bag. Ships in a premium gift box: the gift every trader in your life actually wants.

The current retail risk warning concerns forex CFDs. Older reviews may describe the UK service as using LION Trader or MetaTrader 4, and may quote old minimum-deposit figures, spreads or platform features. Those articles may no longer describe the current offering. Check the live UK website and the client agreement before relying on any older review.

CFDs are leveraged products. Leverage allows a relatively small margin deposit to control a larger position, but it also magnifies losses. Market gaps, slippage, margin close-outs and unsuccessful trades can reduce an account quickly. The broker’s own current warning says that 74–89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with it.
Client-money rules do not protect you from trading losses
Hirose’s UK terms state that client funds are handled under the FCA Client Money Rules. This is important if the firm becomes insolvent, but it is not a promise that your trading capital cannot fall.
The terms also say that funds cease to be treated as client money when they become due and payable to Hirose—for example, following a trade loss. In practical terms, client-money segregation is not:
- Protection against a losing CFD position.
- A guarantee that you will make a profit.
- Protection against market gaps or slippage.
- A guarantee that a stop order will execute at the exact requested price.
- Protection against a margin close-out caused by insufficient funds.
Read the applicable client agreement rather than relying on a general statement that deposits are “fully protected”. The current terms include separate provisions on negative balance protection, margin, closure events, client money, manifest errors, complaints and compensation.

Does FSCS cover Hirose trading losses?
Not ordinary trading losses. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme can provide investment compensation of up to £85,000 per eligible person, per firm where an authorised firm has failed, the activity was regulated, the customer suffered a qualifying loss and the firm has a legal liability.
FSCS protection is not insurance against a CFD position losing money. If you deposit £10,000 and lose £3,000 through unsuccessful trades, FSCS does not reimburse that loss merely because the investment performed badly.
Rank #3
A more accurate description is: eligible customers may have FSCS protection if the authorised firm fails and cannot meet a qualifying liability. It does not cover normal market losses.
Complaints and the Financial Ombudsman Service
If you believe Hirose handled a complaint, execution issue, stop order, margin call or product-related matter improperly, complain to the firm first. The Financial Ombudsman Service generally expects the firm to have an opportunity to investigate and issue a final response, usually within eight weeks.
The Ombudsman can consider eligible complaints involving FCA-regulated investment firms, including some disputes involving CFDs. This does not mean every complaint will succeed, and it does not reverse a losing trade simply because the outcome was disappointing.
Withdrawals: what to expect
Hirose’s published withdrawal policy says it normally processes a withdrawal within one business day. Additional verification can take longer, and a bank or payment provider may take up to five business days to deliver the funds.
The published instructions also say that:
- Deposits and withdrawals generally need to use the same payment method.
- Withdrawals to third parties are not allowed.
- Hirose may request additional identity or payment verification.
- Bank or payment-provider charges may apply even if Hirose does not charge an internal withdrawal fee.
- Currency conversion costs may apply.
These are ordinary anti-money-laundering and payment controls, but they can look like a blocked withdrawal if the account holder cannot prove ownership of the payment method or has not supplied requested documents.
Keep copies of deposit confirmations, withdrawal requests, identity documents, account statements and correspondence. If a withdrawal is delayed, ask the firm to identify the precise outstanding requirement in writing. Do not pay an unrelated “tax”, “release fee” or “verification deposit” to an intermediary to unlock funds.

Hirose’s published terms say the firm may deactivate an account after at least 180 calendar days of dormancy or inactivity. They also provide for an account-maintenance fee of GBP 20, EUR 20 or USD 20, depending on the account currency.
The terms contain a separate provision for specified circumstances involving suspected unfair or fraudulent trading. In those circumstances, the firm may return funds after deducting actual payment and withdrawal costs and a handling fee normally equal to 1% of the deposit amount. This should not be described as a normal withdrawal fee; it is a clause tied to the circumstances set out in the agreement.
One document is dated 2017
Hirose’s legal section links to a Key Information Document for Forex CFDs marked as last updated on 29 December 2017. It remains useful as a risk disclosure, but its date means it should not be treated as proof that every current cost, platform feature or product specification is unchanged.
This is one reason to check the current website, costs and client agreement before opening an account. A dated document and older third-party review should not override the current contractual information supplied during the application process.

- Check Companies House. Search for HIROSE FINANCIAL UK LTD and confirm company number 07423885 and active status.
- Check the FCA Register. Search for FRN 540244 and review the firm’s permitted activities and contact details.
- Compare the domain. The official UK retail website identified in the available records is hiroseuk.com. Treat lookalike domains as unverified.
- Match the legal entity. Read the agreement and confirm it names HIROSE FINANCIAL UK LTD, not an unrelated company.
- Verify contact details independently. Use the contact details on the FCA record or official website rather than replying to an unsolicited message.
- Check your eligibility. The UK site says its service is not directed at US residents or residents of countries where using it would breach local law. It also says Hirose UK cannot accept live-account applications from residents of Japan.
- Start cautiously. Understand the margin, withdrawal and inactivity terms before depositing money you cannot afford to lose.
What do customer reviews show?
Public review evidence is too limited to establish either systematic fraud or consistently good service. Trustpilot currently shows an unclaimed profile with one review and no reviews in the preceding 12 months.
One review cannot prove that Hirose is a scam, and it cannot demonstrate that withdrawals are always trouble-free. Regulatory records, the legal entity, the client agreement and your direct experience with the firm are more useful evidence than a very small review sample.

Final assessment
Hirose Financial UK Ltd. is legitimate as a regulated UK brokerage entity. The evidence includes its active Companies House registration, FCA FRN 540244, an official website identified in the FCA’s records and published FCA-related client documentation.
The main risks are different from those of an unlicensed scam. You could still lose money trading leveraged CFDs, misunderstand the limits of client-money protection, deal with a clone website or encounter delays while satisfying withdrawal checks. Verify the exact legal entity and contact details before depositing, and do not confuse FSCS protection with cover for trading losses.

FAQ
Is Hirose Financial a scam?
The genuine UK entity, HIROSE FINANCIAL UK LTD, is an active company authorised by the FCA under FRN 540244. However, the FCA has warned about a separate clone called Hiroseoption, so customers must verify the website and contact details before depositing.
Is Hirose Financial regulated in the UK?
Yes. Hirose Financial UK Ltd. is the UK entity and its FCA Firm Reference Number is 540244. Confirm the current details on the FCA Financial Services Register rather than relying only on an FCA number displayed on a website.
Does FSCS cover losses at Hirose Financial?
FSCS may cover a qualifying liability if an authorised firm fails and cannot meet its obligations, subject to the scheme rules and limits. It does not cover money lost because a CFD trade performed badly.
How long do Hirose withdrawals take?
Hirose’s published policy says withdrawals normally take one business day to process. Payment providers or banks can take up to five business days to deliver funds, and additional verification may extend the process.

What is the Hiroseoption warning?
Hiroseoption was a clone that falsely represented itself as Hirose Financial UK. The FCA says it had no connection with the genuine authorised firm. A website using the Hirose name or FCA number is not automatically genuine.
Can US residents use Hirose Financial UK?
The UK site says its information is not directed at US residents or residents of countries where using the service would breach local law. A US resident should not assume that UK authorisation makes the service available or lawful in the United States.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: The real Hirose Financial UK Ltd. is legitimate and FCA-authorised, but the service is not risk-free. Verify HIROSE FINANCIAL UK LTD, company number 07423885, FCA FRN 540244 and the official hiroseuk.com domain. Avoid Hiroseoption and any intermediary that requests payment to a personal account or wallet. Remember that FCA regulation, client-money rules and possible FSCS eligibility do not protect you from normal losses when trading leveraged CFDs.
