Where did Arby’s test Steak Nuggets?
Arby’s confirmed a test in select locations in May 2025. A contemporaneous Parade report published May 9, 2025 named Grand Rapids, Michigan; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jacksonville and Orlando, Florida; and Green Bay, Wisconsin. That is a list of five reported markets across the Midwest and South, not evidence that the test was limited to three Southern cities. The report does not provide an official, complete list of participating restaurants.
No quantified test results—such as sales, customer-preference figures, or the number of participating restaurants—are stated in the cited reporting. Arby’s later said guests loved the product, but its announcement did not give a sample size or measured results.
What are Arby’s Steak Nuggets?
Arby’s described the nuggets as hand-cut, bite-sized steak seasoned with garlic and pepper. That description comes from the company’s launch announcement, not an independent ingredient analysis. The original limited-time menu offered three formats:

When did Steak Nuggets come out, and are they back?
After the May 2025 test, Arby’s announced a nationwide limited-time debut on October 6, 2025. On August 24, 2026, the company announced another limited-time nationwide run, adding Horsey Ranch dipping sauce and a Steak Nugget Potato Bowl with crispy potatoes and cheese. “Nationwide” describes the announced rollout, not a guarantee that every restaurant has the item at every moment. The company’s homepage promotion does not confirm stock at a particular location. Check the Arby’s website or contact your local restaurant before visiting.
