ALDI’s $47 Thanksgiving dinner deal was a 2024 offer, not a current price: the grocer said a meal for 10 would cost less than $47, assuming a 16-pound turkey. The offer’s stated price period ended November 27, 2024, and ALDI warned that availability could vary by store. ALDI’s October 16, 2024 announcement describes ingredients for cooking a meal, not a prepared dinner box.
What was in ALDI’s $47 Thanksgiving deal?
ALDI’s 2024 list included a Butterball turkey with spices and gravy, rolls, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, and ingredients for several sides and dessert. The announcement described ingredients for assembling the meal; it did not say that the food came prepared.
- Turkey with spices and gravy
- Rolls, macaroni and cheese, and stuffing
- Ingredients for cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes
- Ingredients for sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole
- Ingredients for pumpkin pie
The announcement does not give exact portions for every side, so the “serves 10” claim should be read as ALDI’s stated offer size, not a guarantee of a particular serving of every dish for each guest.
How did ALDI calculate the price?
The less-than-$47 total was tied to ALDI’s listed ingredients and an assumed 16-pound turkey. ALDI also stated a per-person figure of less than $4.70. These were the company’s own offer figures, not an independently measured comparison of grocery prices. The announced price period ran from October 16 through November 27, 2024; store availability and prices could vary by location. See the 2024 announcement for ALDI’s terms.

Is the $47 offer still available?
No. The $47 figure refers to a time-limited 2024 offer whose stated price period has passed. It should not be treated as a standing ALDI price or as evidence of the 2026 Thanksgiving price.
How did ALDI’s 2025 Thanksgiving offer differ?
ALDI announced a separate offer in 2025: $40 for 10, based on 21 products and a 14-pound Jennie-O turkey. Prices were stated to be effective October 15 through December 24, 2025. That is a different year’s offer and does not revise the 2024 $47 figure.
