A used Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio can be a compelling performance-sedan purchase, but “under $50,000” is a shopping target—not a dependable market-wide price. Whether a particular car makes financial sense depends on its year, mileage, condition, service and modification history, and local asking prices. Evaluate the purchase price alongside inspection costs, maintenance needs, and any remaining warranty before deciding it is a bargain.
What you get for the money
The Quadrifoglio’s performance is substantial: the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Owner’s Manual lists 505 hp at 6,500 rpm, 443 lb-ft of torque from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm, a 191 mph top speed, and a 0–60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. These are Alfa Romeo’s published specifications for the 2024 model, not independent test results; do not assume every model year has identical figures.
That capability is only one part of the value equation. A car with a low asking price may have higher mileage, less complete service records, prior repairs or modifications, or more wear on consumable parts. Compare specific cars on those factors rather than treating the badge or headline price as proof of a good deal.
Is a Giulia Quadrifoglio under $50,000 a good deal?
It may be, if the specific car’s condition, history, and price line up. The available listing examples are too limited to establish a typical current asking price or how often suitable cars appear below $50,000. A sub-$50,000 target may mean being flexible about model year, mileage, location, or condition. Keep the asking price separate from the total amount you are prepared to spend: an inspection, deferred maintenance, and repairs can change the economics of a seemingly attractive listing.

Use a consistent checklist so a low price does not distract from condition or ownership costs.

- Compare like with like: Match model year, mileage, region, and condition when reviewing asking prices. Treat listing prices as asking prices, not evidence of completed sales.
- Review the history: Request maintenance records and information about accidents, repairs, and modifications. Ask what work has been done and whether supporting documentation is available.
- Inspect wear items: Have tire and brake condition assessed, along with other visible signs of use.
- Arrange a specialist inspection: A qualified Alfa Romeo specialist can inspect the particular car and perform a diagnostic scan. This is prudent due diligence, not a claim that every Quadrifoglio has a known defect.
- Check warranty status: Ask for the in-service date and current mileage, then confirm any remaining coverage with the seller or an Alfa Romeo dealer.
- Check recalls by VIN: Use the NHTSA recall lookup and ask for documentation that any open recall remedy has been completed. A general model-year search cannot establish the status of an individual car.
Warranty: verify the individual vehicle
Alfa Romeo USA states that its basic limited warranty is four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. That is the manufacturer’s stated term, not confirmation that a used example is still covered. Eligibility depends on the specific vehicle’s in-service date and mileage, so verify both with the seller or dealer and ask for written confirmation of any coverage that remains. Street use and track driving are different ownership decisions
The 2024 owner’s manual cautions that the car “was not designed to be driven exclusively on the race track and that this use increases stress and component wear.” It recommends taking a driving course, checking fluid levels, and having an authorized dealer inspect the car before driving it on a track in a racing style.

The manual also says the Quadrifoglio’s front brakes use NAO (Non-Asbestos Organic) pads and that these pads “are NOT suitable for high thermal loads (for example track use).” This is a track-use limitation, not a recommendation that every street-driven car needs upgraded pads. If you intend to track a used example, discuss its year and brake configuration with a qualified specialist before choosing parts or budgeting for track use.
