Reported discounts varied by game and between the US and UK, and they are historical—not live prices. For a useful comparison, check the exact edition, seller and market, then review its recent price history before buying.
What Amazon’s Black Friday 2025 board-game deals included
Wargamer’s roundup, updated November 24, 2025, reported the following Amazon discounts. These are the publication’s figures at that time, not current offers or proof that a price was the lowest available. Read the dated Wargamer roundup.
| Game | Amazon US discount reported | Amazon UK discount reported |
|---|---|---|
| Carcassonne | 50% | 54% |
| Ticket to Ride Legacy | 38% | 30% |
| Mansions of Madness | 38% | 29% |
| 7 Wonders | 35% | 17% |
| Ark Nova | 33% | 22% |
| Camel Up | 29% | 13% |
| Pandemic Legacy Season 1 | 25% | 7% |
| Harmonies | 24% | 15% |
| Unfathomable | 24% | 21% |
The regional differences are a reason not to treat a headline percentage as universal: the reported Carcassonne discount, for example, was different in the US and UK. Amazon’s own 2025 roundups also named Monopoly Junior Super Mario at up to 34% off in the US and Outsmarted at up to 33% off in the UK. “Up to” describes a maximum advertised saving, not necessarily the price of every listing or edition. Amazon US’s 2025 Black Friday roundup and Amazon UK’s roundup document those examples.
Do the deals prove “best in years”?
No. The 2025 examples establish that Amazon featured board-game discounts, but they do not establish a multi-year record. A valid “best in years” comparison would need consistent prices for the same games and editions, in the same market and from comparable sellers across multiple Black Fridays. The available reports do not provide that comparison. Nor do they establish Amazon’s 2026 Black Friday board-game offers.

Black Friday is not automatically the cheapest buying window, either. Amazon UK says it works to offer low prices throughout the year, so a seasonal sale label alone does not show that a game is unusually cheap. Amazon UK’s Black Friday roundup provides that year-round pricing context.
How to judge a board-game discount before buying
- Match the exact game and edition. Check the product title and listing details; different editions or versions are not a like-for-like comparison.
- Check the price history. Amazon says the product-page “Price History” view can show up to 365 days of pricing. That helps assess recent movement, but it cannot establish a multi-year Black Friday record. Amazon’s 2026 Price History guidance explains the feature.
- Compare the actual market and seller. Confirm the country storefront, currency, seller, stock and checkout price. A US percentage-off figure does not establish the value of a UK listing, or vice versa.
- Consider the game, not just the percentage. A discount only saves money if the game suits the people who will play it. Compare offers for the same edition and check whether the final price fits your budget.
Set up Amazon deal alerts
Amazon’s US Black Friday guidance says shoppers can add products to Lists, a cart or “Save for later,” and use Alexa+ deal tracking for notifications. Those tools can help you notice a sale, but they do not replace checking the item’s price history and listing details. Amazon’s Black Friday guidance describes the options.
