The Credit Analyst track emphasized credit appraisal and processing; the Relationship Manager track required corporate-credit sales or client-relationship experience. All experience and age criteria were assessed as of October 1, 2025. The advertisement governs detailed eligibility, reservation and documentation rules.
What were the education and age requirements?
Each role required graduation in any discipline plus a postgraduate degree or diploma specializing in finance or equivalent, or a professional qualification of CA, CMA, CS or CFA. Qualifications had to come from an institution recognized by the Government of India or an approved regulatory body.

The listed age bands are the notice’s base limits. It provided relaxations for eligible categories: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC non-creamy layer; 10 years for PwD applicants in General/EWS, 13 years for PwD applicants in OBC, and 15 years for PwD applicants in SC/ST. It also specified relaxations for certain ex-servicemen and 5 years for persons affected by the 1984 riots. Relaxations depended on applicable reservation points and supporting documents.
- Work in a clerical cadre did not count toward the stated experience requirement.
- Experience shorter than six months was generally excluded, except where it was part of the applicant’s current employment.
- The notice’s exact category, reservation and experience provisions should be read together; meeting the education requirement alone did not establish eligibility.
What were the pay scales and service conditions?
Bank of Baroda advertised these basic-pay scales in 2025. The initial figure is basic pay, not take-home salary; allowances and benefits were subject to banking-sector settlements and Bank policies and could change.

The advertisement also set a minimum CIBIL score of 680 at joining, a 12-month probation period and a three-year service bond, or ₹5 lakh compensation in lieu, subject to prevailing policy and offer-letter terms. Posting could be anywhere in India.
What was the application fee?
The non-refundable fee in the 2025 notice was ₹850 plus payment-gateway charges for General, EWS and OBC applicants, and ₹175 plus payment-gateway charges for SC, ST, PwD, ESM/DESM and women applicants. Registration was complete only after online fee payment by the deadline.

How did the application process work?
Applications were submitted online during the now-closed window. The contemporaneous route was through Bank of Baroda’s Careers / Current Opportunities page, locating advertisement BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2025/14 and selecting Apply Now. Applicants completed the form, uploaded requested documents, paid the fee, submitted the application and retained a copy. Scroll’s October 13, 2025 report also described the recruitment and deadline.
The notice’s upload checklist included a resume, proof of date of birth, educational certificates, relevant work-experience certificates, applicable category or PwD certificates and a pay slip where applicable. It asked applicants to keep their registered email address active.

What selection process did the notice describe?
The Bank reserved discretion to use an online test, psychometric test or another appropriate assessment, followed by Group Discussion and/or Interview. The notice said the test date would be advised separately; its stated format was tentative and does not establish which stages were ultimately held.
If an online test was conducted in the advertised format, it would have had 150 questions, 225 marks and a total duration of 150 minutes:

For the three qualifying sections, the notice specified minimum qualifying marks of 40% for General/EWS and 35% for reserved categories, while allowing the Bank to change or waive criteria. It stated that there would be no negative marking. Credit-analysis study material could be an optional way to prepare for relevant work, but the notice did not endorse any book or provider.

The last date to submit an application and pay the fee was October 30, 2025. The deadline has passed, so the 2025 advertisement is not a current route to apply.
