Amazon Canada’s 2025 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event ran from November 20 through December 1. That is a past event date, not a recurring annual start date. As of October 7, 2026, the official Amazon Canada archive results checked did not establish a 2026 start date, so November 20 should not be treated as this year’s confirmed date.
Amazon Canada Black Friday dates by year
| Year | Announced event dates | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | November 21–December 2 | Amazon Canada, November 12, 2024 |
| 2025 | November 20–December 1 | Amazon Canada, November 17, 2025 |
| 2026 | Not established in the official archive results checked October 7, 2026 | Amazon Canada retail archive |
The two announced schedules show why the date needs a year attached: Amazon Canada’s 2024 event started one day later than its 2025 event. Neither schedule confirms when the 2026 sale will begin.

Could shoppers access the 2025 sale without Prime?
Amazon described the 2025 event as available to all customers, with additional benefits for Prime members. It was not presented as a Prime-only sale. That access information applies to the 2025 event; Amazon has not confirmed 2026 sale terms in the sources cited here.
What Amazon highlighted for the 2025 event
Amazon Canada’s November 17, 2025 announcement promoted deals across electronics, home goods, toys, fashion, beauty, kitchen appliances and Amazon devices. It also described an App Day with mobile-exclusive deals on November 20 and promoted Amazon Haul. These were features of the 2025 promotion, not confirmed plans for 2026.

Look for a new event announcement from Amazon Canada before relying on a Black Friday start date. The official retail archive results checked October 7, 2026 included announcements through July 2026 and an entry from December 2025, but did not show a Black Friday 2026 announcement. That finding describes the archive results checked, not proof that Amazon has made no announcement elsewhere.
