I would not buy a challenge unless you can independently confirm that its website, trading platform, rules, support, refund policy, and payout process are currently working.
There is not enough basis to label Fidelcrest a criminal scam as a legal fact. However, the business model itself gives traders limited protection: you generally pay for an evaluation account, trade under strict rules, and may receive a contractual reward if the firm approves your results. You are not depositing money with a regulated broker to manage live capital.
What is Fidelcrest?
Fidelcrest has operated as a proprietary-trading evaluation company. Its customers typically paid a one-time fee for access to a simulated account and then attempted to meet a profit target without exceeding drawdown or other risk limits.
That distinction matters. A “funded account” at a prop firm does not necessarily mean you are trading the company’s live money. In many retail prop models, the account is simulated, and the trader’s potential reward depends on the firm’s terms, verification process, and ability and willingness to pay.

Fidelcrest has historically marketed different account sizes and challenge formats, with features such as profit targets, maximum daily loss limits, maximum overall loss limits, and profit sharing. Those details can change, so old review tables should not be treated as current terms.
Is Fidelcrest a scam?
The fairest conclusion is “unverified and high risk,” rather than a proven scam.
Calling a company a scam requires stronger evidence than a difficult trading experience or an unhappy review. Traders can lose challenges legitimately by breaking drawdown, consistency, news-trading, or other rules. At the same time, a prop firm can create serious consumer risk without there being a proven criminal fraud finding.
The practical question is not only whether Fidelcrest once operated a real evaluation business. It is whether a new customer can currently verify all of the following before paying:

How Fidelcrest’s model works
- Choose an evaluation: The trader selects an account size and challenge type and pays a fee.
- Trade under limits: The account normally has a profit objective and loss limits. Some firms also impose minimum trading days, restrictions on news or overnight positions, consistency requirements, or prohibited-strategy rules.
- Pass the evaluation: Meeting the headline profit target is not enough if the trader breached another condition.
- Complete verification: The firm may review identity, trading activity, platform records, and rule compliance.
- Request a reward: Any payment is governed by the company’s contract and payout rules. It is not the same as withdrawing a cash balance from a regulated brokerage account.
Before paying, read the definitions rather than relying on advertising. “Maximum daily loss,” for example, may be calculated from the account’s starting balance, equity at a particular time, or a daily reset value. A floating loss, commission, swap, or open trade can sometimes affect whether a limit has been breached.
Historical features versus current terms
Older Fidelcrest reviews describe several account sizes, challenge structures, MetaTrader-based trading, profit targets, drawdown limits, and profit splits. Those reviews can help explain how the firm presented its products, but they do not prove that the same products, prices, platforms, or rules remain available.
Do not rely on a cached review that says a challenge has a particular target or “no time limit.” The current agreement may contain additional restrictions. A promotion can also change the fee while leaving the underlying payout conditions unchanged.

- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. You never stare at a blank page.
- RATE YOUR EXECUTION, NOT YOUR RESULT: Your platform tracks the P&L. Nothing tracks the why. That review habit is the edge. You're 42% more likely to hit a goal you've written down.

| Claim to check | Why it matters | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | A target may apply separately to each phase. | Target percentage, phase structure, and whether profits reset. |
| Daily drawdown | The calculation method can trigger an unexpected breach. | Balance or equity basis, reset time, commissions, and floating trades. |
| Overall drawdown | A trailing limit can move upward as the account grows. | Static versus trailing calculation and the exact breach timestamp. |
| Trading restrictions | A profitable trade can still violate a prohibited-strategy rule. | News, weekend, overnight, HFT, copy trading, arbitrage, and EA rules. |
| Payout terms | Passing a challenge may not guarantee immediate payment. | First-payout date, review period, minimum amount, split, and denial clauses. |
Regulation and broker confusion
Fidelcrest should not be assumed to be regulated merely because it provides access to MetaTrader or uses a third-party broker, liquidity provider, or data feed. Platform access and broker relationships do not automatically give the prop firm the regulatory status of a bank, investment adviser, or licensed broker.
A regulated broker normally has obligations relating to client money, disclosures, complaints, and supervision. A simulated prop evaluation may instead be governed mainly by a private contract. That can leave the trader with fewer remedies if an account is closed or a reward is disputed.
Red flags to check before buying
- Unavailable legal information: The site does not clearly identify the operating company, address, governing law, or responsible entity.
- Rules that can be changed after purchase: The agreement gives the firm broad discretion to alter conditions or terminate accounts.
- Vague payout language: Marketing emphasizes large profit splits but the contract gives no clear payment timetable.
- Unclear prohibited strategies: Terms mention “abusive trading” or “inconsistent behavior” without an objective definition.
- Pressure to buy: Countdown timers, unusually large discounts, or claims that an offer will disappear can discourage proper checks.
- No working support: A firm that cannot answer a pre-sale question is unlikely to be a sensible place to risk an evaluation fee.
- Only historical proof: Old screenshots and testimonials do not establish current solvency or payout performance.
How to investigate Fidelcrest before paying
- Open the official website directly rather than using an affiliate link.
- Save a copy of the current terms, fee page, rules, and refund policy as PDFs or screenshots.
- Identify the legal entity named in the checkout and terms. Check whether the names match.
- Ask support, in writing, how daily and overall drawdown are calculated.
- Ask whether news trading, weekend holding, expert advisers, copy trading, latency strategies, and multiple accounts are allowed.
- Request the exact payout schedule and the circumstances that permit denial or account closure.
- Check recent trader reports, but separate complaints about ordinary failed challenges from reports of denied payouts or inaccessible accounts.
- Pay only an amount you can afford to lose completely. Do not borrow money or use funds needed for rent, bills, or debt payments.
If the site is inaccessible, the checkout fails, the terms cannot be downloaded, or support does not respond before purchase, stop there. Those are not technical inconveniences to ignore; they are evidence that the customer cannot evaluate the contract.
What happens if a payout is disputed?
Keep the original agreement, account statements, trading logs, platform screenshots, payment receipt, support emails, and payout request. Ask the firm to identify the precise rule, timestamp, and calculation behind the decision. Avoid sending additional fees to “unlock” a payout unless the contract clearly disclosed that charge and you have independently verified the company.

If you paid by card, contact the card issuer promptly and ask about its dispute process. Payment disputes are fact-specific and deadlines apply. Do not misrepresent the transaction: explain that you purchased an evaluation service and describe exactly what was or was not delivered.

| Potential advantage | Potential drawback |
|---|---|
| A challenge fee may be lower than funding a personal trading account with the advertised account size. | The advertised account size may represent simulated buying power, not cash assigned to you. |
| Rules can impose structured risk limits. | Strict or ambiguous rules can invalidate otherwise profitable trading. |
| A trader can test a strategy with a defined upfront cost. | The fee is at risk, and passing does not remove payout or counterparty risk. |
| Profit sharing may be attractive if payments are made as promised. | The split is a contractual promise, not a guarantee backed by deposit insurance. |
Who should avoid Fidelcrest?
Avoid it if you need guaranteed access to your money, cannot afford to lose the challenge fee, do not understand drawdown calculations, or are looking for a regulated investment account. It is also unsuitable for anyone who intends to copy trades, hold positions through restricted events, use high-frequency methods, or trade in a way the contract does not clearly permit.
Experienced traders may still consider a prop evaluation, but only after verifying the current entity, rules, platform, and payout evidence. The evaluation should be treated as a speculative purchase of a service—not as an investment with guaranteed returns.
FAQ
Is Fidelcrest regulated?
Do not assume that it is. A prop firm’s use of MetaTrader, a broker, or a liquidity provider does not automatically make the prop firm regulated. Check the current legal entity and any regulator’s official register before paying.

Best Value
Does Fidelcrest provide real funded trading accounts?
The prop-firm model is commonly based on simulated evaluation accounts. Even if the firm calls an account “funded,” read the agreement to determine whether trades are simulated and how rewards are calculated.
Can you make money with Fidelcrest?
A trader might pass an evaluation and receive a contractual reward, but that outcome is not guaranteed. You must also account for the challenge fee, rule-breach risk, payout approval, and the firm’s ability to meet its obligations.
Is Fidelcrest safe for beginners?
No prop firm should be treated as beginner-safe. New traders can lose fees quickly through leverage, drawdown limits, or misunderstood rules. Beginners should first learn risk management and test a strategy without risking essential money.
Should I buy a Fidelcrest challenge?
Only if the official site and checkout are currently functioning, the legal entity and terms are clear, support answers detailed questions, and recent payout evidence is credible. If any of those checks fail, avoid the purchase.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Fidelcrest may have operated as a genuine prop-trading evaluation business, but that does not make it equivalent to a regulated broker or guarantee rewards. Because prop-firm terms and operating status can change, the sensible verdict is to avoid buying unless you can verify the current website, contract, rules, support, and payout track record yourself. Never risk money needed for living expenses, and do not interpret a simulated “funded” account as access to guaranteed capital.
