What were the application dates and fee?
A copy of the prospectus attributed to the AIIMS Examination Section lists online registration from 29 November through 13 December 2024, closing at 5:00 p.m. The copy was hosted by a third party, so applicants checking the historical terms should distinguish it from AIIMS’s official notices.

The prospectus copy listed an application fee of ₹3,000 plus transaction charges for General and OBC candidates, and ₹2,400 plus charges for SC, ST and EWS candidates. It said the SC/ST fee would be refunded after the candidate appeared in the Stage I CBT, less applicable bank charges, and that applicants with benchmark disabilities (PWBD) were exempt.
What changed after the advertisement?
AIIMS’s Examination Section issued Addendum No. 36/2024 on 19 December 2024, revising seat positions in four departments. The figures below are revised department-level positions stated in the addendum, not additional posts to add to the reported 410 total.

The addendum includes category-level revisions and says the rest of the prospectus remains unchanged. It also cautions applicants to check the AIIMS website for later corrigenda, addenda and updates. The department figures alone do not establish a new overall vacancy count; category and backlog distinctions matter when reading the detailed chart.
What happened to the selection process?
AIIMS’s result notice confirms that the CBT took place on 28 December 2024 and interviews were conducted from 16 to 18 January 2025. The notice is dated 21 January 2025, and AIIMS’s archive lists an overall merit list for the cycle. The recruitment therefore proceeded beyond applications to results.

No. The deadline passed on 13 December 2024, and AIIMS published the result notice in January 2025. The old application details should not be treated as an active vacancy notice. Anyone looking for a later SR/SD opening should rely on the current advertisement and updates published by AIIMS, rather than this completed January 2025 cycle.

A contemporaneous report gave an upper age limit of 45 years as of 28 February 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories. The available official addendum does not reproduce the full eligibility rules. The precise qualifications, experience requirements and category-specific relaxation periods should therefore be checked in the original prospectus rather than inferred from the partial notice record.
