1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsVerdict: Coin Royal should be avoided. The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) lists Coin Royal / coin-royal.com as an unauthorised firm, while Spain’s securities regulator, the CNMV, warned on July 10, 2023 that COIN-ROYAL was not authorised to provide investment services, including foreign-exchange transactions.
That does not amount to a court finding that the operators committed criminal fraud. However, the combination of regulator warnings, no verified financial-services licence and repeated customer allegations about blocked withdrawals makes Coin Royal an unsafe choice for trading or investing.
What was Coin Royal?
Coin Royal operated through coin-royal.com and presented itself as an online trading platform. Historical broker reviews associated it with forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices and commodities.
Those descriptions come from older third-party material. The Coin Royal website is not currently a reliable source for confirming its products, account conditions, fees, withdrawal process or trading interface. Any article presenting old account specifications as current should therefore be treated cautiously.

Coin Royal’s regulatory status
UK: FCA warning
The FCA’s warning identifies:
- Name: Coin Royal / coin-royal.com
- Website: www.coin-royal.com
- Telephone listed: +44 161 818 1670
- Warning first published: July 4, 2023
- Warning last updated: November 14, 2023
The FCA states that Coin Royal was not authorised by the regulator and may have been targeting people in the UK. It also warns that customers would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or protection from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if the firm failed.
The FCA separately notes that unauthorised firms may use false or borrowed contact details and may change their contact information. This matters because an address, telephone number or company name shown on a trading website is not proof that the business operating it is genuine.
See the FCA Coin Royal warning.
Spain: CNMV warning
Spain’s Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) issued a warning dated July 10, 2023. It stated that COIN-ROYAL was not authorised to provide investment services or activities covered by Spanish securities law, including foreign-exchange transactions.
This is separate regulatory evidence from the FCA warning. It means the concern was not limited to a UK registration issue.

Businesoft Limited
First Floor, First St. Vincent Bank Ltd. Building
James Street
Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The company was associated with registration number 26181 BC 2021. Businesoft Limited also appeared in a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines government gazette listing of business companies dated May 21, 2024.
That proves only that a company-registration entry existed. It does not prove that Businesoft Limited held a licence to provide forex, CFD, securities or cryptocurrency-brokerage services. Company registration and financial authorisation are different things.
There is also a further limitation: the FCA warns that unauthorised firms may use details belonging to another business or person. The historical address should therefore not be treated as independent proof that Coin Royal was operating a legitimate regulated business.
What happened when customers tried to withdraw?
The most consistent allegations in the customer material reviewed concern withdrawals. Users reported that:
- withdrawal requests stayed pending or were blocked;
- additional fees were demanded before funds could be released;
- they were pressured to deposit more money;
- contact stopped after a withdrawal request; and
- money could not be recovered after an initial deposit.
One UK forum report described a £250 deposit followed by pressure to invest more and later difficulty recovering the funds. These are user reports, not independently adjudicated findings. They should not be presented as court-proven facts.

They are nevertheless important warning signs because the same basic pattern appears across several complaint sources: deposits were accepted, but withdrawals became difficult or conditional on further payment.
Do not pay a “release fee” to get your money back
A demand for a tax, blockchain-release fee, insurance charge, compliance payment or account-upgrade fee before a withdrawal is processed is not evidence that the money will be released. The complaint material reviewed records such demands as allegations; no regulator source reviewed verified them as legitimate charges.
Sending another payment can increase the loss without solving the original withdrawal problem. Be particularly cautious of anyone who contacts you promising to recover Coin Royal funds in exchange for an upfront fee.
Historical account terms
Older reviews reported different versions of Coin Royal’s account and trading conditions. The claims included:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →| Reported feature | Historical claim | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | $250 to $500 | Sources disagreed; not a current verified term |
| Account tiers | Standard, Plus, Gold and Expert | Reported by older reviews only |
| Maximum leverage | Up to 1:600 | Historical and unverified as a current offer |
| Platform | Proprietary web-trading platform | No current interface was reliably verified |
| Demo account | No publicly available demo reported | Not confirmed as a current policy |
The conflicting minimum-deposit figures are a useful reminder not to rely on copied broker-review pages for current terms. No reliable live source was available to verify Coin Royal’s exact menus, deposit methods, withdrawal steps, fees or account-opening process.
Why a displayed balance does not prove your money is safe
A balance shown inside a trading dashboard is not proof that the same amount is held in a segregated bank or brokerage account. It also does not prove that the balance can be withdrawn.

The key questions are whether the firm is authorised, whether client money is subject to enforceable protection rules and whether withdrawals are actually available. In Coin Royal’s case, the FCA warning establishes that the firm was unauthorised and that UK customers would not receive normal FCA-backed complaint and compensation protections.
Common claims about Coin Royal that are wrong
“It is regulated because Businesoft Limited is registered in SVG.”
Incorrect. A company entry in the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines gazette is not a financial-services licence. The FCA and CNMV warnings are the relevant evidence on Coin Royal’s regulatory status.
“The FCA warning is old, so Coin Royal must now be authorised.”
Unsupported. The FCA warning page remains active and identifies Coin Royal as unauthorised. The age of a warning does not establish that a firm later became regulated. Any claimed authorisation should be checked directly on the current register of the relevant regulator.
“HTTPS means the website is safe.”
Incorrect. HTTPS encrypts the connection between a browser and a website. It does not confirm the operator’s identity, authorisation, solvency or honesty.
“Coin Royal is the same as Coins Royale.”
Incorrect. coin-royal.com is the trading platform named in the FCA and CNMV warnings. coinsroyale.com is a separate website associated with social-casino reviews. The two names should not be confused.

If you have already deposited money
- Do not send more money. This includes alleged tax, release, insurance, verification, compliance and recovery payments.
- Save evidence. Keep account screenshots, emails, chat messages, telephone numbers, payment confirmations, wallet addresses and copies of any identity documents submitted.
- Contact the payment provider promptly. Ask your bank, card issuer or payment service what dispute, recall or fraud-reporting options may be available. Recovery is not guaranteed, but delay can reduce the options available.
- Report the matter to the relevant authorities. UK consumers can use the FCA’s reporting channels and should consider reporting suspected fraud to the appropriate UK law-enforcement service. Consumers elsewhere should contact their national financial regulator and police or fraud-reporting authority.
- Be wary of recovery scams. A person claiming to have access to Coin Royal funds may ask for an upfront payment or personal information. Treat that as a separate risk, not proof that recovery is possible.
FAQ
Is Coin Royal legitimate?
No. The FCA lists Coin Royal / coin-royal.com as an unauthorised firm, and Spain’s CNMV separately warned that COIN-ROYAL was not authorised to provide investment services. It should be treated as high risk and avoided.

Is Coin Royal a scam?
Calling it a scam is reasonable as a consumer-risk description because of the regulator warnings and reported withdrawal problems. However, the available notices establish that Coin Royal was unauthorised; they do not constitute a court judgment that the operators committed criminal fraud.
Can I get my Coin Royal withdrawal released by paying a fee?
There is no reliable basis for assuming so. User complaints allege demands for tax, release, insurance and other fees, but these charges were not verified as legitimate by the regulators reviewed. Do not send another payment without independent advice.
Was Coin Royal regulated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines?
No financial-services licence was found in the research reviewed. Businesoft Limited appeared in a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company gazette, but company registration is not the same as authorisation to provide forex, CFD, securities or cryptocurrency services.
Is Coin Royal the same company as Coins Royale?
No. Coin Royal operated through coin-royal.com and was named in FCA and CNMV warnings. Coins Royale, associated with coinsroyale.com, is a separate website.
What should I do if I gave Coin Royal my identity documents?
Stop communicating through unverified channels, preserve all records and contact your bank or payment provider and the relevant regulator or fraud-reporting authority. Also watch for follow-up impersonation or recovery attempts requesting more money or personal information.
The Bottom Line
Coin Royal is not a legitimate or safe broker to use. The FCA and CNMV both identified it as unauthorised, there is no verified evidence of a financial-services licence, and customer complaints repeatedly describe withdrawal obstacles and demands for additional payments. Do not deposit money, upload identity documents or pay a further fee to unlock an alleged balance. If you have already paid, preserve the evidence and contact your payment provider and the appropriate authorities promptly.
