The “$800 million fortune” headline is not a verified current net-worth figure for Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. The available figures measure different things: a 2019 net-worth estimate, broad asset ranges in 2021 disclosures, and income over a defined period. They cannot be combined into a precise current balance sheet.
How much are Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner worth?
The most useful published net-worth estimate in the available reporting is Forbes’ $375 million combined estimate for 2019, reported in a 2024 article. Forbes attributed $324 million of that amount to Kushner. It is a dated estimate, not a current valuation: Forbes’ 2024 account.
A separate figure often used to suggest a much larger fortune comes from the couple’s final White House financial disclosures. Fortune summarized their reported assets as ranging from $206 million to $803 million. That is a gross-asset range, not net worth: the disclosure forms listed assets and liabilities separately, and their broad ranges do not yield a single precise value. Fortune’s 2021 summary.
The final reports covered 2020 through January 20, 2021. CREW summarized combined outside income for that period as $23,791,645 to $120,676,949. Income is money received during a reporting period; it is not the same as assets held or net worth. CREW’s analysis.

What the disclosures say about their wealth
Jared Kushner: property income and Cadre
Fortune’s account of Kushner’s final disclosure said he reported up to $117 million in income, mostly from rent or royalties connected to residential and commercial properties. It also reported $1.8 million from Westminster Management, the Kushner Company’s multifamily housing management firm. These are historical disclosure figures, not current earnings. Fortune.
The same account put Kushner’s Cadre stake at $25 million to $50 million. CREW said his final report showed that he retained his Cadre interest and described an offshore holding company formed in 2020 through which some holdings appeared to be held. The broad stake range and complex ownership structures are reasons not to treat a headline asset total as a simple, precise personal valuation. CREW.

Ivanka Trump: hotel-related income and limited trademark revenue
CREW reported $1,463,449 in hotel-related revenue in Ivanka Trump’s final disclosure, compared with nearly $4 million in the prior disclosure. CREW also said the reported value of her stake in the Trump International Hotel in Washington had declined to $100,001–$250,000. Those figures refer to the disclosure period, not her present income or stake value. CREW.
Fortune described $1.5 million in income from her hotel stake and another $1.5 million from several LLCs in the final-disclosure coverage. Her fashion line had closed in 2018; Fortune said listed fashion, home-goods, and other trademarks and licensing contracts produced no more than $200 in the period it covered. Fortune.

Why the public numbers do not establish an $800 million net worth
- Assets are not net worth. Net worth requires subtracting liabilities from assets. The $206 million–$803 million figure is Fortune’s summary of assets, not a net-worth calculation.
- Income is a flow, not a balance sheet. The $23.8 million–$120.7 million combined outside-income range covers a particular reporting period; it does not show how much wealth they held at its end.
- Ranges obscure the exact value. Financial disclosures report many holdings in broad brackets, so adding the reported ranges does not produce an exact valuation.
- Ownership and valuation can be complex. The 2017 White House briefing described numerous sub-LLCs, trusts, and other structures. An administration official also said Ivanka Trump’s assets were imputed to Kushner for disclosure purposes. Those were descriptions of disclosure handling, not independent valuations. Archived White House briefing.
The 2017 reporting offers context for the scale of the holdings but not a current valuation. Fortune said the couple held at least $240 million in assets as they entered White House roles, and reported that Kushner resigned from roughly 260 entities and sold 58 businesses or investments identified by lawyers as potential conflicts. In that same 2017 article, attorney Jamie Gorelick said the remaining conflicts were “pretty narrow and very manageable”—a comment about ethics conflicts, not a valuation of the couple’s wealth. Fortune.

Before comparing two public figures, check what each number actually describes:
- Identify the measure. Determine whether the figure is net worth, gross assets, income for a period, or the estimated value of one stake.
- Check the date and period. A 2019 estimate or a disclosure covering 2020 through January 20, 2021 cannot establish a value as of 2026.
- Look for liabilities. An asset total is not net worth unless debts and other liabilities are accounted for.
- Note the precision. Broad disclosure brackets are not point valuations, and totals built from them remain ranges.
No authoritative current combined wealth estimate dated to October 7, 2026 is established by these sources. The $800 million framing should therefore be treated as an unverified headline figure, not as a confirmed net worth.
