That was a reported logistics change—not confirmation that all AliExpress shipping to Pakistan stopped. The reports linked the disruption to tax and customs uncertainty, but no original AliExpress notice or official customs order establishing that cause was located. As of October 2026, current availability for a particular item must be checked on its listing and at checkout.
What happened to AliExpress budget shipping to Pakistan?
On July 2, 2025, ProPakistani reported that AliExpress had begun offline processing for some destination routes, including Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and that sellers would no longer be able to select certain previously available budget methods from July 7. This describes a seller-facing restriction affecting some routes; it does not establish a permanent ban on every shipping method, seller, or parcel to Pakistan. ProPakistani’s report
INP / WealthPK also reported that low-cost options including AliExpress Standard Shipping and Cainiao were affected as international vendors responded to digital-tax measures and customs uncertainty. That explanation is reporting, not a confirmed official account of AliExpress’s decision. The available sources do not establish a direct causal link between a specific tax rule and the route change. Can you still order from AliExpress to Pakistan?
The July 2025 reports do not establish what shipping methods are selectable today. Availability can vary by product, seller, and delivery address, so check the specific listing and checkout rather than assuming that a method mentioned in older coverage is either available or unavailable now.

- Set your delivery country and address to Pakistan on AliExpress.
- Open the exact product listing and review the shipping methods displayed for that item and address.
- Proceed to checkout and confirm the shipping charge, any tax shown, and the estimated delivery information before paying.
If an economy method is absent, the listing does not show that every AliExpress seller has stopped shipping to Pakistan. Compare only the methods actually offered for your item; the available reporting does not establish a reliable current list of Pakistan-serving couriers, prices, or delivery times.
Could customs or taxes add to the price?
Checkout is not necessarily a parcel-specific landed-cost calculation. Customs treatment can depend on the goods’ classification and applicable rules, and the cited reports do not provide a dependable tax amount for an individual order. Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) publishes the Pakistan Customs Tariff and related tariff materials; those references are a starting point for checking current rates, not a guarantee of what a particular parcel will cost after assessment. For a precise duty, exemption, or rule, consult the relevant current instrument in the FBR Customs SRO listing.

Do not treat the July 2025 shipping reports as proof that a particular tax will be charged on arrival. Nor does the reported policy context establish that AliExpress collects every possible customs amount at checkout. Review what the platform displays, and allow for the possibility that customs assessment or clearance requirements may affect the final cost or delivery.

- Reported: Some budget shipping routes for Pakistan were to be taken offline in seller logistics processing from July 7, 2025.
- Named in reporting: AliExpress Standard Shipping and Cainiao were among the low-cost options described as affected.
- Not independently confirmed for today: Whether either method, or another economy option, is available for a particular Pakistan-bound order.
- Not established: A permanent, platform-wide shipping ban; a specific official customs order causing the route change; or a quantified average increase in shipping or consumer costs.
A separate June 2026 Pakistani government statement about abolishing an 18% sales tax on the domestic shipping industry does not establish the tax treatment of imported AliExpress parcels or explain the 2025 route decision. Press Information Department statement, June 13, 2026
