Its currently listed operating company is FIBO Group, Ltd., regulated in the British Virgin Islands as a “Dealing as Principal” under license SIBA/L/13/1063.
The regulatory picture needs careful attention. FIBO’s former Cyprus entity, Fibo Markets Ltd, no longer holds its CySEC authorization: CySEC withdrew license 118/10 in August 2025 and later announced the withdrawal of its Investor Compensation Fund membership. New customers should therefore assess the broker on its current BVI status rather than relying on older references to CySEC protection.
This review examines FIBO Group’s account costs, platforms, deposits and withdrawals, trading features and the practical risks that matter before funding an account.
FIBO Group at a glance
| Feature | Current information |
|---|---|
| Operating entity | FIBO Group, Ltd. |
| Regulator | BVI Financial Services Commission |
| License | SIBA/L/13/1063 |
| Forex | Up to 43 currency pairs, depending on account |
| Platforms | MT4, MT5, cTrader and web terminals |
| Minimum advertised deposit | 1 cent on the cent accounts; $50 on most standard accounts |
| Maximum advertised leverage | Up to 1:5,000 on the MT5 Cent account |
| Managed accounts | PAMM accounts, with $300 shown as the minimum managed-account deposit |
| Restricted residents | The current English website excludes residents of the United States, United Kingdom and North Korea; other restrictions appear in the Documents section |
FIBO’s high leverage and low minimum deposits make it accessible to small-account traders, but those features increase risk rather than reduce it. A 1:3,000 or 1:5,000 leverage limit can allow a small price movement to consume a large portion of available margin.
#1 Best Overall
- As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work.
- You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. Day trading is not gambling or an online poker game.
- To be successful at day trading you need the right tools and you need to be motivated, to work hard, and to persevere.
Regulation and client protection
FIBO Group, Ltd. appears on the BVI FSC register as a currently regulated entity. The register identifies the business as “Dealing as Principal,” which means the BVI entity is the relevant legal counterparty for clients accepted under that business.
That is materially different from the broker’s former European regulatory position. Fibo Markets Ltd, previously known as FIBO Group Holdings Ltd, held CySEC license 118/10. CySEC recorded the withdrawal of that authorization after the company renounced it. The withdrawal decision was dated August 25, 2025, and published on September 4, 2025. CySEC also announced the withdrawal of the firm’s Investor Compensation Fund membership in November 2025.
Consequently, it would be inaccurate to describe FIBO Group as currently CySEC-regulated or to imply that new clients automatically receive Cyprus ICF protection. Prospective customers should check the legal entity named in their account agreement, the applicable jurisdiction and the current restricted-country list before depositing.
FIBO’s website says its services are unavailable to residents of the United States, United Kingdom and North Korea. It directs customers to the Documents section for the complete list.
Markets available
The current product range includes:
- Up to 43 forex currency pairs, depending on account type.
- Spot metals, including gold and silver.
- Cryptocurrency CFDs on several MT4, MT5 and cent accounts.
- CFDs on 50 large U.S. companies through eligible MT4 and MT5 accounts.
The U.S. stock product is a CFD, not a share-dealing service. You do not own the underlying stock, receive ordinary shareholder rights or build a conventional long-term investment portfolio through these contracts. FIBO describes the product as leveraged speculation on rising or falling prices, with leverage of up to 1:20.
Cryptocurrency CFDs also involve price speculation rather than ownership of the coins. Availability depends on the account and platform: the current information lists crypto CFDs on several MT4, MT5 and cent accounts, but not on the listed cTrader accounts.
Account types, spreads and commissions
FIBO’s account-comparison table currently shows eight account categories:
| Account | Minimum deposit | Spread from | Forex leverage | Commission |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MT4 Cent | 1 cent | 0.6 pips | 1:3,000 | None |
| MT4 Fixed | $50 | 2 pips | 1:200 | None |
| MT4 NDD | $50 | 0 pips | 1:400 | 0.003% of transaction amount |
| MT4 NDD No Commission | $50 | 0.8 pips | 1:400 | None |
| cTrader NDD | $50 | 0 pips | 1:400 | 0.003% of transaction amount |
| cTrader Zero Spread | $50 | 0 pips | 1:1,000 | 0.012%, minimum $1 |
| MT5 NDD | $50 | 0 pips | 1:400 | 0.003% of transaction amount |
| MT5 Cent | 1 cent | 0.6 pips | 1:5,000 | None |
All eight accounts show a minimum volume step of 0.01 lot. Stop-out levels are listed as 20% for the cent, fixed and cTrader accounts, and 50% for the listed NDD and MT5 accounts.

“Spread from zero” is not the same as free trading. For example, the cTrader Zero Spread account charges 0.012% of the transaction amount, with a minimum commission of $1. The MT4 NDD, cTrader NDD and MT5 NDD accounts list a lower commission of 0.003%, but their total cost still depends on the live spread, trade size, instrument and whether the position is held overnight.
Rank #2
Before selecting an account, compare the complete cost for your normal trade rather than choosing solely on the displayed spread. A commission account can be cheaper for active trading when spreads are narrow, while a spread-only account may be easier to calculate for occasional trades. Swap charges vary by instrument and are published through FIBO’s contract specifications and swap-history information.
There is also a website inconsistency concerning cTrader leverage. The general products page describes a cTrader account with maximum leverage of 1:100, while the more detailed comparison table lists cTrader NDD at 1:400 and cTrader Zero Spread at 1:1,000. Treat the account-comparison page and the quote shown inside the Client Area as controlling, and confirm the figure before opening a position.
Trading platforms
FIBO supports:
- MetaTrader 4
- MetaTrader 5
- cTrader
- MT4 WebTerminal
- MT5 WebTerminal
- Mobile access for supported platforms
MT4 supports Expert Advisors and custom indicators written in MQL4. FIBO says it permits manual trading, Expert Advisors and scalping without special scalping restrictions. That may suit algorithmic traders and short-term strategies, although platform permission does not eliminate execution risk, slippage, spreads or the possibility of losing money quickly.
Useful account-management paths are documented by FIBO:
- To add an account, sign in to Client Area and select Open a new trading account.
- To review MT4 history, open the terminal, press
Ctrl+T, choose Account History, right-click in the tab and select All History, Last 3 months, Last Month or Custom period.
Registration and verification
FIBO’s registration process has three broad stages:
- Create a Client Area account using an email address and phone number.
- Confirm the email and phone number, then upload identity documents.
- Fund the trading account.
Full verification is required before FIBO says a customer can open live or demo accounts, deposit by bank transfer or card, open or invest in PAMM accounts, withdraw trading or investment profits, or register as an introducing broker or PAMM agent.
If the phone-verification SMS does not arrive, FIBO directs users to contact customer service through the website’s live chat. Have identification and address documents ready, and ensure the name on the trading account matches the name on the payment method.

Deposits and withdrawals
Available payment methods include bank transfers, cards, online-payment services and cryptocurrency. The displayed payment table gives examples such as:
| Method | Displayed deposit or withdrawal information |
|---|---|
| Bank transfer | EUR and USD deposits show 0% listed fee and usually 2–5 days; withdrawals show approximately $35–$50 and 3–5 business days |
| Inwizo | Deposits show 0%; withdrawals show 6% + $2 |
| Neteller | Withdrawals show 2%, minimum $1/EUR, normally within two business days |
| Skrill | Withdrawals show 1% |
| TC Pay | Withdrawals show 3% |
| VOLET | Withdrawals show 1.5% |
| Some cryptocurrency methods | Withdrawals show 0.5%; Raidospare is listed at 0%, while blockchain network fees may still apply to deposits |
FIBO also advertises a “No Fee Deposit” promotion. Its terms say that bank-transfer deposits above $1,000 may qualify for compensation of up to $30 in bank fees. Cryptocurrency blockchain fees are excluded, and FIBO reserves the right to reject or reverse compensation where it believes the promotion has been abused.

Do not rely on the general FAQ statement that FIBO does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees. The current payment table lists method-specific withdrawal charges and bank costs. Check the fee displayed for your exact method inside the Client Area before confirming a transaction.
Withdrawal conditions that can cause delays
FIBO’s August 2025 non-trading regulations contain several conditions that can affect a withdrawal:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Withdrawals are generally expected to use the same currency and payment method used for the deposit.
- The bank account or e-wallet must be in the client’s own name.
- Third-party payments may be returned to the sender, with return-processing costs potentially deducted. FIBO says it may also close open positions in this situation.
- For card deposits, FIBO may request proof that the customer owns the card. If the proof is missing or invalid, the funds may be returned to the original card.
- FIBO may pause transactions while investigating suspicious activity and request identity documents, payment records or evidence of the source and ownership of funds.
For transactions classified as suspicious, the rules allow FIBO to deny a transaction, restrict withdrawals, return funds to the original source, close an account or open positions, suspend terminal access and withhold certain credited fees or bonuses.
The regulations state that bank withdrawals are processed within three business days after being received for processing. Other withdrawal instructions are stated to be processed within no more than two business days, excluding the submission day. The bank or payment provider can add further time.
These clauses are contractual conditions, not evidence that every customer encounters a problem. However, they make it sensible to use a payment method in your own name, retain deposit receipts and test the withdrawal process with a small amount before committing substantial funds.
PAMM and copy trading
FIBO offers PAMM managed accounts. Investors allocate money to a manager, who trades with the manager’s and investors’ pooled funds. The account-comparison page lists $300 as the minimum deposit for opening a managed account.
Investor income is calculated after the manager’s fee and any penalty specified in the manager’s offer. Settlement and profit distribution occur at the end of an investment period. PAMM ratings can be filtered by currency, manager capital, profitability and offer terms.
Past performance rankings do not guarantee future returns. Review drawdown, time in operation, manager capital, fee arrangements and withdrawal terms rather than sorting only by the highest return.
FIBO also lists cTrader Copy and MetaTrader 4/5 Signals. These tools can automate the following of another trader’s positions, but the account owner remains exposed to execution differences, leverage and losses.
Islamic accounts, swaps and scalping
The account table marks MT4 Fixed, MT4 NDD and MT4 NDD No Commission as supporting Islamic accounts. The listed cTrader and MT5 accounts are not marked as Islamic accounts in that comparison table. Customers who require swap-free treatment should confirm eligibility, instruments, duration limits and any alternative charges directly with FIBO.

The Documents page lists a Real Cash Bonus 30% dated June 15, 2026, as well as Cashback Program Terms dated November 6, 2024. These should not be treated as unconditional cash. Bonus programs commonly involve eligibility, turnover, withdrawal and cancellation rules, and FIBO’s published terms govern how these promotions work.
Read the complete terms before accepting a bonus. In particular, check whether withdrawing funds cancels the bonus, whether credited amounts can be withheld during an investigation and what trading volume is required.

Complaints procedure
FIBO’s complaints procedure instructs clients to submit complaints to [email protected] or by post to the company’s BVI address. A complaint should include:
- Date
- Name and surname
- Agreement number
- Contact details
- Details of the complaint
The procedure states that FIBO will respond within 10 working days. If more time is required, it gives a maximum processing period of three months from receipt. Trading-related complaints should be submitted after logging in to the FIBO account.
Advantages and disadvantages
| Potential advantages | Potential disadvantages and risks |
|---|---|
| MT4, MT5 and cTrader support | Current operating entity is BVI-regulated rather than CySEC-regulated |
| Cent accounts with a 1-cent minimum deposit | Very high leverage can magnify losses rapidly |
| Zero-spread-from pricing and commission-based options | “Zero spread” accounts still charge commission |
| PAMM, cTrader Copy and MetaTrader Signals | Managed and copied performance is not guaranteed |
| Scalping and Expert Advisors permitted | Payment fees and withdrawal conditions vary by method |
| Wide range of payment options | Third-party payments can be returned and transactions may be held for checks |
Who may find FIBO Group suitable?
FIBO may appeal to experienced forex and CFD traders who specifically want MT4, MT5 or cTrader, cent-account access, automated trading or high leverage. The PAMM and copy-trading tools may also interest investors who understand manager risk and performance fees.
It is less suitable for someone seeking conventional share ownership, strong European investor-protection assumptions, or a simple long-term investment account. The high leverage advertised by some account types is also inappropriate for many beginners, even where the monetary minimum deposit is very low.

FAQ
Is FIBO Group currently regulated by CySEC?
No. Fibo Markets Ltd’s CySEC authorization 118/10 was withdrawn in 2025, and its Investor Compensation Fund membership was also withdrawn. The currently listed operating entity is FIBO Group, Ltd., regulated by the BVI Financial Services Commission under license SIBA/L/13/1063.
What is the minimum deposit at FIBO Group?
The MT4 Cent and MT5 Cent accounts show a minimum deposit of 1 cent. The other listed trading accounts generally show $50. The minimum for a PAMM managed account is listed as $300.
Does FIBO Group charge withdrawal fees?
Fees depend on the payment method. The current payment table lists approximately $35–$50 for bank-transfer withdrawals, 6% + $2 for Inwizo, 2% for Neteller, 1% for Skrill, 3% for TC Pay and 1.5% for VOLET, among other charges.
Can I use Expert Advisors and scalp with FIBO Group?
FIBO states that it permits Expert Advisors, manual trading and scalping without special scalping restrictions. MT4 Expert Advisors and custom indicators use MQL4.
Are FIBO Group’s U.S. stock offerings real shares?
No. The listed U.S. stock product consists of CFDs on 50 large U.S. companies. These contracts allow speculation on price movements and do not provide ownership of the underlying shares.
How long can a FIBO Group withdrawal take?
FIBO’s regulations state that bank withdrawals are processed within three business days after receipt for processing, while other instructions are generally processed within two business days, excluding the submission day. Banks and payment providers can add extra time.
The Bottom Line
FIBO Group offers a broad platform and account selection, cent accounts, automated-trading support, PAMM and copy-trading features. Its pricing can be competitive for traders who understand the difference between spreads, commissions and swaps.
The main qualification is regulatory and operational: new clients should assess the BVI-regulated FIBO Group, Ltd., not outdated descriptions of a CySEC-regulated broker. Withdrawal fees vary, payment-method rules are restrictive, and the highest leverage levels carry substantial loss risk. Verify the legal entity, read the current account and payment terms, and test the funding and withdrawal process with an amount you can afford to lose before trading seriously.
