The available evidence does not independently verify Nexus Equity’s reported assets or establish that its Frankfurt expansion happened. The €47 billion figure and the expansion plan were reported as company claims by TechBullion on January 15, 2025; they should not be treated as audited or independently confirmed facts.

What Nexus Equity reported for 2024

TechBullion’s January 15, 2025 article attributed the following financial and performance figures to Nexus Equity. The company-hosted annual-report document repeats the year-end assets-under-management figure, but the available material does not establish independent verification of these figures or provide an audit opinion supporting them.

Reported item Figure or claim Attribution and qualification
Assets under management at December 31, 2024 €47 billion Claim attributed to Nexus Equity by TechBullion; also repeated in a company-hosted annual-report document. Not independently confirmed in the available sources.
Prior-year AUM and increase €38 billion at the prior year-end; increase of €9 billion Claim attributed to Nexus Equity by TechBullion. The increase is the difference between the two reported figures.
Year-over-year AUM growth 23.7% Calculated and reported by TechBullion from the attributed AUM figures; not an independently verified growth rate.
Revenue and profit €1.2 billion revenue; €300 million profit Figures attributed to Nexus Equity by TechBullion; independently unconfirmed in the available material.
Portfolio return 15.2% Claim attributed to Nexus Equity by TechBullion. The available account does not establish the calculation method, period-specific benchmark, or independent verification.
2025 AUM forecast €55 billion Forecast in the company-hosted annual-report document, not a reported result.

AUM is the value of assets a manager says it manages; it is not the same as revenue, profit, or a client’s personal return. A headline AUM figure alone also does not show how much belongs to outside clients, how assets are valued, or whether performance figures are net of fees.

What the Frankfurt plan involved

TechBullion reported that Nexus Equity planned to establish a Frankfurt office in the second quarter of 2025. The reported plan included a €5 million investment, a 50-person office, and a target of €10 billion in European inflows. The company-hosted annual-report document also repeats the plan.

The available sources do not confirm that the office opened, that it employed the planned staff, or that the inflow target was reached. The €55 billion AUM figure in the company document is a forecast, not evidence that the Frankfurt plan succeeded.

What the investment and ESG claims establish

TechBullion described several projects as part of Nexus Equity’s investments: a €300 million Ontario solar array, a €500 million green real-estate complex in Bucharest, a €400 million Midwest telemedicine network, and a €200 million Boston biotech lab. The article also attributed project returns and environmental outcomes to the firm or to an analyst it quoted. The available material does not independently verify the projects, investment amounts, returns, or environmental results, so they should be read as reported claims rather than established outcomes.

The article quoted James Carter, identified there as an analyst at Global Invest Trends, describing the firm as “a machine—profit and planet in lockstep” and its reported return as “gold in a choppy market.” The article does not independently establish Carter’s credentials or verify the performance data underlying those statements. The quotations are commentary, not proof of returns or ESG impact.

Is Nexus Equity legitimate, and can its registration be verified?

Nexus Equity’s website describes the business as founded in 2014 and says it provides tailored investment strategies, portfolio management, and securities services from Wilmington, Delaware. That is the company’s own description; it does not by itself establish regulatory authorization, the identity of the legal entity managing assets, or the scale of its business.

BrandsCheck reported that it could not independently match the claimed SEC CRD 305472 to Nexus Equity in official adviser information, and advised checking the exact legal entity and authorization. That report is not an official regulator determination, but it means the CRD claim should not be treated as verified solely because it appears in company material. The available evidence does not establish that Nexus Equity is fraudulent, nor does it establish that the claimed registration belongs to the business described on its website.

Checks to make before investing

  1. Match the legal entity. Search the relevant official adviser or broker records using the exact legal name and the claimed CRD number. Check that the name, address, ownership, and status match the entity asking for your money.
  2. Confirm the authorization covers the service offered. Registration or authorization for one activity does not automatically establish permission to provide every investment service. Check the regulator record and ask which entity will advise you, manage assets, and hold them.
  3. Request documents behind the headline figures. Ask for audited financial statements and AUM schedules, the performance calculation and fee treatment, and documentation for any claimed investment mandate. A company-hosted report is not a substitute for independent verification.
  4. Understand custody and costs. Identify the custodian holding the assets, confirm how you can verify holdings independently, and obtain the fee schedule and withdrawal terms in writing before transferring funds.

If the legal entity, regulatory record, custody arrangements, or performance documentation cannot be reconciled, do not rely on the headline AUM or return figure to make an investment decision.
