IDBI Bank’s 2025-26 Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) application window opened on March 1, 2025, and closed on March 12, 2025. That notice is no longer accepting applications. The March 1 date applied only to that recruitment cycle—not to future JAM openings.

Which IDBI JAM notification does March 1 refer to?

It refers to IDBI Bank’s 2025-26 recruitment through its Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) route for Junior Assistant Manager, Grade O. The bank’s advertisement described a one-year programme combining classroom study, an internship and on-the-job training, followed by the role. It listed 650 tentative vacancies for that cycle. See the official 2025-26 advertisement for the notice’s terms.

The 650 figure was tentative and specific to the 2025-26 PGDBF notice; it is not a current vacancy count or a figure to carry over to another recruitment cycle.

Can you still apply under the March 2025 notice?

No. The official notice set the online registration period as March 1–12, 2025. That application window has closed.

How does the later 2026-27 JAM cycle differ?

IDBI issued a separate 2026-27 regional JAM advertisement with registration from March 8–19, 2026. That window has also closed. The later notice states eligibility with reference to March 1, 2026, including a bachelor’s degree requirement, category-specific minimum marks and an age range of 20–25 at that reference date. These requirements belong to the 2026-27 notice; they should not be treated as the rules for the 2025-26 PGDBF recruitment.

Recruitment cycle Route Registration Vacancies and eligibility context
2025-26 PGDBF; JAM, Grade O March 1–12, 2025; closed 650 tentative vacancies in the official advertisement. Apply that notice’s own criteria.
2026-27 Regional JAM March 8–19, 2026; closed Do not reuse the 2025-26 vacancy figure. The later notice sets eligibility as of March 1, 2026.

Consult the IDBI Bank Current Openings page for any subsequent vacancy and its controlling notice. Each cycle has its own dates and eligibility rules, so check the specific advertisement rather than relying on an older JAM headline.

Where to find an official IDBI recruitment notice

IDBI says its Current Openings section lists positions and links to detailed job information and the application process. The bank also advises candidates to rely on announcements on its official website and in leading newspapers, and warns against unauthorized recruitment agencies or requests for money. Use the bank’s careers FAQ for its guidance. Do not treat a news report as the application portal.
