When did applications open and close?
The notification, dated November 28, 2022, originally set the application period from November 30 through December 28, 2022. The board later extended the deadline to January 7, 2023, at 5 p.m., as reported by Hindustan Times on December 26, 2022. Both dates are in the past.

The original schedule listed hall-ticket downloads from January 9, 2023, and a preliminary written test on January 22, 2023. Those were dates in the 2022 notification schedule, not upcoming events.
What were the basic eligibility requirements?
Age
The general age range was 18 to 24 years as of July 1, 2022, with specified upper-age relaxations. The applicable limit depended on the candidate’s category and circumstances; the short summary should not be treated as a universal eligibility ruling.
Education
The standard educational requirement was Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent. The notification also provided an exception for certain SC/ST candidates who had passed SSC, studied Intermediate, and appeared for both first- and second-year examinations. Candidates needed to rely on the full notification’s conditions for their individual case.
Application fee

- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who progressed were assessed against applicable physical measurements.
