Free live forex webinars can help you learn how currency pairs, economic releases and chart analysis fit together—but they are not a substitute for a beginner’s course or a guarantee of profitable trades.

For U.S. beginners, FOREX.com’s Interactive Livestreams currently offer the most reliable recurring schedule. Forexearlywarning’s X Spaces are the easiest to join without registering for a broker webinar. OANDA is useful for platform and market demonstrations, but individual sessions may be unavailable or restricted to live clients.

Research and schedules were checked on August 8, 2026. Times and availability can change, so confirm the details on the host’s page before planning around a session.

Best free live forex webinars for beginners

Rank Webinar Best for Access Main limitation
1 FOREX.com Interactive Livestreams A dependable U.S. schedule Trading Academy → Interactive Livestreams Not every session is designed for complete beginners
2 OANDA U.S. Webinars Broker-hosted analysis and Q&A Resources → Webinars & events Some sessions require live-client status; dates can be inconsistent
3 Forexearlywarning X Spaces No-registration discussion Follow @forexheatmap on X Audio-only and requires an X account
4 Exness Insights Webinars Non-U.S. users seeking live Q&A Register on Zoom beside an available webinar For registered users; Exness does not serve U.S. residents
5 IG Academy live sessions Archive-based learning and platform education IG Academy → Live sessions Availability depends on region; some pages show no upcoming webinars

1. FOREX.com Interactive Livestreams: best recurring U.S. option

FOREX.com has the clearest ongoing calendar among the services reviewed. On the U.S. site, open Trading Academy → Interactive Livestreams and use the REGISTER HERE link beside the session you want.

Session Schedule What a beginner can learn
Weekly Technical Outlook Mondays, 8:30–9:30 a.m. ET Market structure, chart levels and the week’s technical themes
Forex Price Action Tuesdays, 11 a.m.–12 p.m. ET How traders interpret price movement and chart patterns
Forex Economic Events Wednesdays, 10–10:30 a.m. ET How scheduled economic news can affect currencies
Foundations of Forex Trading Thursdays, 7–8 p.m. ET Technical-analysis topics and trading concepts
Live NFP Coverage First Friday of each month, 8–9 a.m. ET Live commentary around the U.S. jobs report

Best starting point: Weekly Technical Outlook. FOREX.com explicitly describes it as suitable for traders of all experience levels. The economic-events and price-action sessions are more useful once you know basic terms such as pip, spread, leverage and stop-loss.

Important qualification: do not assume that the “Foundations of Forex Trading” series is a zero-experience course. FOREX.com says it is intended for traders with some experience—approximately six months of live trading—or particular technical-analysis interests.

FOREX.com also has a separate six-part Trader’s Course. That is not the same as the live webinar calendar. The site says joining FOREX.com unlocks all six videos, while some material is preview-only or marked Request Access.

2. OANDA U.S. Webinars: useful, but check the small print

OANDA’s webinar page offers broker-hosted explanations of market conditions, strategy and platform tools. Depending on the session, topics can include economic events, major currency pairs, chart analysis, indicators, order-book data, position ratios and audience questions.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

To register, go to Resources → Webinars & events, choose a listed date and time, and complete the form. OANDA says its webinars are free, but “free” does not always mean open to anyone: some sessions require attendance as a live OANDA client.

Availability is the other issue. The U.S. page for Live market review with OANDA currently says, “No future dates available at the moment.” Some sessions provide recordings, but not all do. The confirmation page should tell you whether a recording will be shared.

Rank #2
Trading: Technical Analysis Masterclass: Master the financial markets
  • Language: english
  • Book - trading: technical analysis masterclass: master the financial markets
  • It is made up of premium quality material.

The registration form may request your first name, last name, email address and phone number. It also states that registration gives OANDA permission to contact you about products and services. If the confirmation email does not arrive, check spam for a GoToWebinar message. If the webinar room appears empty, OANDA advises checking whether you joined too early or too late and whether you used the correct time zone.

3. Forexearlywarning X Spaces: best for low-friction participation

Forexearlywarning changed its format on March 19, 2026. Its old webinar-room and conventional video-webinar instructions are no longer current. The live sessions now run as X Spaces.

To join:

  1. Create or log into an X account.
  2. Go to @forexheatmap and follow the account.
  3. Look near the top of the feed for the Space link, usually posted about five minutes before the session starts.

The listed schedule is Monday at 7 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. CST and Wednesday at 10:15 p.m. EST / 9:15 p.m. CST. Because the page uses “EST” even when U.S. daylight-saving changes may affect the local time, check the live announcement.

Monday discussions cover currency strength, trends, support and resistance, chart reading and trading plans. Wednesday sessions include a lesson review, market overview, currency analysis and audience questions. Beginners can ask questions.

The trade-off is format. X Spaces are audio-only. The presenter posts screenshots in replies, and participants can request to speak using the microphone control. Recordings stay on the X feed rather than a traditional webinar archive, and the provider says you must be logged into X to listen and view them.

4. Exness Insights Webinars: a non-U.S. alternative

Exness Insights advertises free webinars covering technical and fundamental analysis, strategies and live Q&A. The content is promoted for all levels, from beginners to professionals.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Registration is straightforward: click Register on Zoom beside an available CFD webinar. However, access is described as free for registered users, not necessarily anonymous visitors.

U.S. readers should exclude this option. Exness does not offer services to U.S. residents, and its account-registration flow requires users to confirm that they are not U.S. citizens or residents for tax purposes. Do not attempt to bypass those restrictions with a VPN or inaccurate registration information.

5. IG Academy live sessions: check your regional page

IG Academy’s live sessions and archive are free to join through IG Academy where available. IG also provides self-study courses through its free IG Academy app, making the platform potentially useful for a beginner who wants structured material alongside live sessions.

Regional availability is the decisive limitation. The currently indexed IG Bank page says No webinars available under upcoming trading webinars. Older articles that promise a continuously available DailyFX or IG live calendar may therefore be outdated. Select your country or region on IG’s site and check the current page rather than relying on an old schedule.

What should a genuine beginner webinar teach?

A session that merely jumps into a chart is not a complete beginner lesson. Before treating a webinar as suitable for someone new to forex, check whether it explains these concepts rather than assuming them:

  • Currency pairs: the base currency, quote currency and what it means when a pair rises or falls.
  • Pips, pipettes, lots and spreads: the units used to measure price movement and transaction cost.
  • Margin and leverage: how a small deposit controls a larger position—and how leverage magnifies losses.
  • Orders: market, limit, stop-loss and take-profit orders, including the possibility of slippage.
  • Position sizing: how to decide the trade size and dollar risk before entering.
  • Swap or financing charges: costs that can apply when a position remains open overnight.
  • Economic-calendar risk: why spreads and volatility can change around news releases.
  • Demo versus live trading: why simulated execution does not reproduce every live-market risk.
  • Regulation and disclosures: who operates the platform, where it is regulated and how customer funds and risks are described.

How to use a live webinar without treating it as a trading signal

  1. Learn the vocabulary first. If the presenter repeatedly uses terms you cannot define, pause and study those terms instead of copying the trade idea.
  2. Use a demo account. A demo can help you learn platform controls and test a plan without risking capital. It does not replicate live execution, spreads, slippage, liquidity conditions or the emotional effect of losses.
  3. Record the whole idea. Write down the entry condition, stop-loss, target, position size, spread and reason for the trade. Do not record only the winning examples shown on screen.
  4. Review outcomes over a meaningful sample. A single winning setup—or a presenter’s selected winning trades—does not establish that a strategy works.
  5. Never send money because of urgency. Be especially cautious about guaranteed returns, unusually high leverage, cryptocurrency-only deposits, private-message sales pitches and offshore firms that avoid clear regulatory information.

Forex webinar safety: the risks beginners should understand

Retail OTC forex is not usually trading directly on a live, centralized exchange. The CFTC explains that, unless you are trading forex futures or options on a regulated exchange, you trade against the dealer. The dealer’s platform controls the displayed prices and other trading information.

Leverage can magnify both gains and losses. The CFTC says approximately two out of three customers at registered OTC forex dealers lose money after credits, financing charges, fees and other expenses. OANDA’s May 2026 risk disclosure reported that 31.74% of its non-discretionary retail forex accounts were profitable in Q1 2026, while 68.26% were not profitable. That is a broker-specific disclosure, not a universal result—but it illustrates why a webinar should not be treated as evidence that most attendees will succeed.

Before opening an account in the United States, check the firm and relevant individuals through the NFA’s registration resources and disciplinary-history tools. U.S. retail forex dealers generally must register as Retail Foreign Exchange Dealers unless an exemption applies, and registered RFEDs must be NFA members.

Which webinar should you choose?

Your priority Best fit Why
A fixed U.S. weekly schedule FOREX.com Weekly Technical Outlook It runs Mondays at 8:30 a.m. ET and is explicitly for all experience levels.
Understanding news and currency volatility FOREX.com Forex Economic Events or Live NFP Coverage These sessions provide live commentary around economic releases, but they are not full foundational courses.
No webinar registration Forexearlywarning X Spaces You need an X account and must follow @forexheatmap, but no broker webinar form is required.
Platform demonstrations and broker Q&A OANDA Useful when a suitable date is available, subject to client restrictions.
A non-U.S. live Q&A option Exness Insights Free for registered users, but unavailable to U.S. residents.

For a complete beginner, start with terminology, leverage, margin, spreads and position sizing before attending market-commentary sessions. A live webinar can show you how an experienced presenter thinks; it cannot remove the risk of losing money.

FAQ

Are live forex webinars really free?

Sometimes, but access conditions vary. OANDA says its webinars are free while noting that some require you to be a live OANDA client. Exness describes its webinars as free for registered users. FOREX.com’s complete Trader’s Course requires joining to unlock all lessons, although its Interactive Livestream listings have registration links.

What is the best forex webinar for a complete beginner?

FOREX.com’s Weekly Technical Outlook is the strongest recurring U.S. choice because it is explicitly marked for all experience levels. However, it is market commentary rather than a complete introductory course. Learn currency pairs, pips, spreads, leverage, margin and position sizing first.

Can U.S. residents use Exness webinars?

Exness does not offer services to U.S. residents. U.S. readers should not register by providing inaccurate information or attempting to bypass the restriction.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Does Forexearlywarning still use Zoom or a webinar room?

No. The provider says its webinar facility moved to X Spaces on March 19, 2026. You need an X account, must follow @forexheatmap and should look for the Space link near the top of the feed shortly before the start.

Will a demo account show exactly what live forex trading is like?

No. A demo account is useful for learning platform controls and testing a strategy without risking money, but it may not reproduce live spreads, slippage, liquidity, execution or emotional pressure. Treat demo results cautiously.

Can I copy trades shown during a webinar?

You should not treat webinar examples as personal investment advice or automatic trade signals. A presenter may show selected winning trades without showing losses, costs, drawdowns or a complete verified record. Build and test your own rules before risking money.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Start with FOREX.com’s Weekly Technical Outlook if you want a recurring U.S. session, or Forexearlywarning’s X Spaces if you want the lowest-friction live discussion. Use OANDA when a suitable, eligible session is available. Exness is for non-U.S. registered users, and IG’s schedule must be checked region by region.

Whichever webinar you attend, use it to learn—not to outsource your decisions. Verify the host, understand leverage and costs, practise on a demo account, and never interpret a presenter’s winning example as proof of future returns.
