What the reports say about the household expenses
In October 2025, The Guardian reported that Dan Bernad, Sia’s then-husband, cited monthly household expenses of more than $400,000 in court documents. The reported categories included private jets, vacations, high-end dining and several full-time staff. The figure was Bernad’s claim in a filing, not an independently audited account or confirmation of Sia’s current spending.
The available reporting supports three broad types of claimed household outlay. It does not establish separate, verified amounts for any category, so the list below should not be read as a breakdown of the monthly total.
1. Private-jet travel
Private jets were among the household expenses described in Bernad’s filing, according to The Guardian. The report does not establish how often they were used, their cost, who traveled, or whether Sia currently travels this way.

2. Vacations
Vacations were also included among the claimed expenses. The reporting does not give destinations, frequency, or a separate vacation budget.
3. High-end dining
The Guardian’s account included high-end dining among the expenses Bernad cited. It provides no itemized dining total, and the category should not be treated as a confirmed personal expense attributable solely to Sia.

4. Household staff—and the limits of the “four ways” framing
The same report described the claimed lifestyle as involving several full-time staff. It did not verify the staff count or state a separate cost. The evidence therefore supports staff as a reported household expense, but not as a precise or independently confirmed spending figure.
These reports identify four categories when staff is counted alongside travel, vacations and dining, but they do not establish four verified purchases made personally by Sia. They describe claimed household outlays in a legal dispute.

How the support request differs from the spending claim
Bernad reportedly sought more than $250,000 per month in spousal support, according to The Guardian’s 2025 report. That was a requested amount, not proof that the court awarded it or that Sia paid it. A support request is legally and financially distinct from the filing’s claimed household-expense total.
What the reported music-catalog deal means
In September 2026, TMZ reported, citing documents it said it obtained, that Sia sold Pophouse a 50% interest in her music catalog for $180 million. Music Business Worldwide reported that Pophouse confirmed acquiring a 50% stake in publishing and master music rights, but its account of the official announcement did not state the price. The $180 million figure is therefore a reported deal price, not a price stated in the announcement described by Music Business Worldwide.

The deal is financial activity involving an asset; it is not evidence that Sia spent $180 million. TMZ also reported, based on documents it said it obtained, that $165 million was associated with songs from before the marriage, that $1 million was reportedly paid to Bernad in exchange for waiving claims to that amount, and that $15 million tied to songs created during the marriage was held in escrow. The sources reviewed do not establish how that escrow was ultimately divided.
