Geely Holding and Geely Auto Group are not the same entity
Zhejiang Geely Holding Group is the privately owned holding company. Geely Auto Group is a listed automotive manufacturing group and a subsidiary of Geely Holding. It manages Geely Auto, Lynk & Co and Zeekr. That distinction matters: those three are managed by Geely Auto Group, while the five-brand list draws from the broader holding-company portfolio. What “owned” means in this list
“Owned by Geely” is convenient shorthand, but it can imply full ownership. Geely Holding instead describes its portfolio as including equity stakes and financial investments. The sources cited here do not establish a current ownership percentage for each of the five brands, so the list should not be read as a claim that Geely Holding wholly owns every one.

Geely’s reported scale in 2025
In a 2026 release reporting 2025 results, Geely Holding said the group sold over 4.11 million vehicles, including 710,042 Volvo Cars vehicles globally. It also reported 2.29 million green new-energy models and a 56% new-energy penetration rate across portfolio brands in 2025. These are Geely Holding’s company-reported figures for that year, not independently presented market estimates. Geely Holding’s 2025 results release provides the figures.

The five are examples, not the whole portfolio
Geely Holding’s broader portfolio includes additional names such as Geely Galaxy and Farizon Auto, among others. Its portfolio descriptions also list brands including Lotus, Radar, smart and LEVC. Because the group describes holdings and investments across a wider portfolio, a short list of five should not be mistaken for either a complete brand catalogue or proof of uniform ownership across the group.
