Verdict: treat Anytrades as high risk unless you can independently verify the exact company and its regulatory authorisation. I cannot establish from the available information that Anytrades is a properly authorised UK broker. That does not, by itself, prove the website is fraudulent—but it means you should not send money, identity documents or remote-access details until its legal entity, regulator and domain have been checked.
The important distinction is between a trading website and an authorised investment firm. A polished platform, claimed licence number, positive testimonials or successful small withdrawals does not demonstrate that a broker is legitimate.
Is Anytrades a legitimate broker?
There is not enough independently verifiable information to recommend Anytrades as a safe broker. A legitimate broker should clearly disclose:
- Its full legal company name;
- its registered office and company number;
- the regulator that authorises it;
- an active licence or reference number;
- the exact domain names covered by that authorisation;
- the legal entity holding customer money; and
- the complaints and compensation arrangements that apply.
Do not confuse incorporation with authorisation. A company can be registered at Companies House or another corporate registry without having permission to provide investments, hold client money or offer leveraged trading.
#1 Best Overall
- As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work.
- You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. Day trading is not gambling or an online poker game.
- To be successful at day trading you need the right tools and you need to be motivated, to work hard, and to persevere.
Unless the Anytrades website provides details that match an active entry in the relevant regulator’s register, the sensible conclusion is unverified and unsafe to fund.
How to check Anytrades yourself
- Find the legal name and licence number in the website’s footer, terms and conditions, and account-opening documents. Do not rely on a logo or a regulator badge.
- For a UK customer, open the FCA Register at register.fca.org.uk. Search the legal firm name, not just “Anytrades”.
- Open the firm’s register entry and compare the telephone number, website address, trading names, permissions and registered address with the details you were given.
- Type the regulator’s website into your browser yourself. Do not use a link sent by a salesperson, WhatsApp contact or email.
- Call the number shown independently on the regulator’s register. Ask whether the specific Anytrades domain and the proposed service are covered by the authorisation.
A matching company name is not sufficient. Clone firms frequently copy a genuine broker’s name, address and licence number while replacing the website, email address and bank details with their own.
Warning signs that should stop a deposit
| Warning sign | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Unsolicited contact by WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or a cold call | Reputable firms may market legally, but unsolicited pressure is a common route into investment fraud. |
| Guaranteed returns or “risk-free” trading | Real investments can lose money. Guaranteed profits are a major fraud indicator. |
| A personal account, cryptocurrency wallet or unrelated company account for payment | Payments should be made only through the verified legal entity and its documented payment process. |
| Pressure to deposit more to unlock profits | This is often an advance-fee demand. “Tax”, “insurance”, “verification” and “liquidity” charges do not make a withdrawal legitimate. |
| Remote-access software such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer | A stranger with access to your computer or phone may capture passwords, banking details and security codes. |
| Only cryptocurrency deposits | Crypto transfers are difficult to reverse and provide little practical protection if the recipient is fraudulent. |
| Support that avoids written answers about regulation or withdrawals | A genuine firm should be able to identify its legal entity and explain its withdrawal terms. |
| Fake countdowns, account managers and screenshots of profits | These are marketing claims, not evidence that trades or balances are genuine. |
Can you trust the Anytrades website and app?
No website design can verify a broker. Check the domain itself rather than assuming that a search result is official. Look for subtle changes such as extra hyphens, different top-level domains, misspellings or a domain that does not appear on the regulator’s entry.
Rank #2
You can inspect a domain’s registration details with a reputable WHOIS service, but privacy-protected registration is not proof of fraud and a public registration is not proof of legitimacy. Website age, SSL encryption and an app-store listing are also weak checks: scammers can use HTTPS, buy advertising and publish convincing applications.

- does not name a legal company;
- uses a different company from the website branding;
- allows the firm to change fees without clear notice;
- gives the firm broad discretion to delay withdrawals; or
- uses an overseas jurisdiction without explaining how a UK customer could enforce their rights.
What protection would apply?
Protection depends on the legal entity, service and jurisdiction—not on the brand name “Anytrades”. If a firm is not authorised for the activity it is carrying out, normal UK protections may not apply.
- FSCS: this is not insurance against a falling share price, trading loss or poor advice. It may provide compensation in specific circumstances when an eligible authorised firm fails, subject to the applicable rules and limits.
- Financial Ombudsman Service: access generally depends on the firm and activity being within the scheme’s jurisdiction and eligibility rules.
- Client-money segregation: a broker’s promise to segregate funds is not a substitute for verifying its authorisation.
- Trading profits: a displayed balance is not proof that money exists. Fraudulent platforms can show fabricated profits and then demand a further payment.
If Anytrades claims regulation outside the UK, check the relevant official register directly—for example, the Central Bank of Ireland, CySEC, ASIC, FINMA or another claimed regulator. Use the regulator’s own register and confirm the precise website and permissions.
What to do if you have already deposited
- Stop sending money. Do not pay a withdrawal fee, tax demand or “recovery deposit”.
- Save evidence. Keep the URL, emails, chats, phone numbers, invoices, wallet addresses, bank details and screenshots of the account.
- Contact your bank or card issuer immediately. Explain that you believe you have been targeted by an investment scam. Ask about a card chargeback, bank-transfer recall or other fraud process. There is no guarantee of recovery, and speed matters.
- Secure your accounts. Change reused passwords, enable two-factor authentication and tell your bank if you disclosed online-banking details or security codes.
- Remove remote-access software. Uninstall it, run security scans and consider using a clean device to change passwords.
- Report the matter. UK victims can report fraud through Action Fraud and report an unauthorised or suspicious firm to the FCA.
Be especially wary of anyone who contacts you later claiming they can recover the money for an upfront fee. Recovery scams commonly target people who have already lost money.

Anytrades: advantages and disadvantages
| Potential advantage | Limitation |
|---|---|
| A website may offer a broad range of markets or trading tools | Features do not establish authorisation or the existence of customer assets. |
| An online account may be quick to open | Fast onboarding can mean that insufficient checks were made before taking money. |
| Small withdrawals may initially be processed | Scams may permit small withdrawals to encourage larger deposits. |
| The brand may claim regulation | The claim must match the exact legal entity, domain and permissions in an official register. |
Safer alternatives
If you want to invest from the UK, compare brokers that are clearly listed on the FCA Register and whose register entry includes the service you need. Verify the firm before opening an account, read the published tariff and start with an amount you can afford to lose. For long-term investing, a regulated stocks-and-shares ISA or pension platform is a different product from an offshore leveraged-trading website.
Rank #4
Do not choose a broker solely because it offers high leverage, a bonus, a personal account manager or unusually tight spreads. Those features can increase risk rather than improve the service.

Is Anytrades a scam?
It cannot be conclusively labelled a scam without identifying the exact company and evidence of its conduct. However, if Anytrades cannot be matched to an active regulator entry with the same domain and permissions, treat it as unverified and do not deposit.
Is Anytrades regulated by the FCA?
Do not assume that it is. Search the FCA Register using the legal company name and verify that the register entry covers the exact Anytrades website and service. A licence number copied onto a website is not proof.

If the platform demands an extra payment before releasing funds, stop. Genuine tax liabilities are not normally handled by paying a supposed broker an advance withdrawal fee. Contact your bank or card issuer and report suspected fraud.
Does FSCS protection cover Anytrades trading losses?
No. FSCS protection is not cover for normal market losses or bad trading results. Whether any compensation protection applies depends on the authorised legal entity, product and circumstances.
What should I do if Anytrades contacted me on WhatsApp?
Do not click links or share passwords, one-time codes or identity documents. End the conversation, verify the firm through the regulator’s register and report the contact if it appears fraudulent.
The Bottom Line
Anytrades should not be treated as a legitimate broker until its exact legal entity, regulator entry, domain and permissions have been independently verified. The absence of verifiable authorisation is enough reason not to deposit. If you have already paid, stop communicating with the salesperson, preserve evidence and contact your bank immediately.
