There is no official ranking of the most successful Dance Moms stars, and the available sources do not provide comparable figures for earnings, sales, audience size, or career impact. Judged instead by documented work and sustained visibility after the series, a defensible shortlist includes Maddie Ziegler, JoJo Siwa, Mackenzie Ziegler, Chloe Lukasiak, Nia Sioux, Kendall Vertes, and Brooke Hyland. The order below is subjective, not a measured ranking.
“Original” needs a little context: the cast changed over the show’s run, and not everyone on this list appeared in its premiere season. The list focuses on early or prominent dancers associated with the series, rather than claiming all seven were original cast members.
How this list defines success
This ranking weighs the breadth and duration of documented post-show work: acting and television roles, music, books, awards, and other public-facing entertainment projects. A degree, an award, and a music release are meaningful but different milestones; they are not interchangeable points in a numerical score. The evidence available does not establish a reliable comparison of these performers’ net worth, sales, audience reach, or current social-media metrics.
Lifetime’s current series page lists nine seasons and 241 episodes. Those figures describe the program, not the dancers’ individual success. Lifetime describes the show as: “Mothers urge their daughters to perform in the world of competitive dance.”

The seven stars, in a subjective order
1. Maddie Ziegler
Maddie’s post-show profile spans acting and authorship. Lifetime includes her in its retrospective of former dancers, while Hulu describes her as an author and actress. Those broad descriptions support her place among the show’s most visible alumni, but the sources considered here do not establish a comparative measure such as earnings or audience size.
2. JoJo Siwa
JoJo’s career extends across television and other public-facing entertainment work. Lifetime says she first appeared on Dance Moms in season 4, later worked with Nickelodeon, and appeared on multiple television programs. That trajectory is substantial, but she was not part of the premiere-season cast—one reason “early and prominent” is more accurate than calling every person on this list an original dancer.

3. Mackenzie Ziegler
Mackenzie continued into music and television after the series. Lifetime records her single “It’s a Girl Party,” music work, and television and web roles; Hulu also summarizes her music and acting. These are documented career areas, rather than proof of lasting chart performance or a particular level of commercial success.
4. Chloe Lukasiak
Chloe’s milestones include screen work, a book, and award recognition. Lifetime says she received the first Teen Choice Choice Dancer award in 2015, returned to Dance Moms in season 7, published Girl on Pointe: Chloe’s Guide to Taking on the World, and appeared in screen projects. Hulu later reported her Pepperdine graduation, a dated education milestone rather than a claim about her current enrollment.

5. Nia Sioux
Nia’s work after the show has crossed several entertainment formats. Lifetime documents music releases, an off-Broadway role, a recurring role on The Bold and the Beautiful, and the hosting and producing project Dance With Nia. Hulu reports her UCLA graduation. Together, these milestones show a varied path; they do not establish a comparative fame ranking.
6. Kendall Vertes
Hulu reports acting and music work for Kendall. That supports including her among the series’ recognizable alumni, though the sources used for this list provide less comparable detail about her post-show credits than they do for several of the dancers ranked above.
Rank #4

7. Brooke Hyland
Hulu reports that Brooke graduated from Ohio University. That is a documented post-show milestone, but it is not an entertainment credit, and the available material offers less detail about her later professional work than it does for most of the other people on this list. Her inclusion reflects her association with the series, not a claim that the seven can be ranked precisely by career impact.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the ranking cannot be treated as definitive
Lifetime’s retrospective and Hulu’s guide provide useful career context, but they do not amount to a complete, current credit database for every performer. The evidence is uneven: some alumni have more specific documented awards, roles, or projects in these sources than others. Without comparable measures across all seven, the order is an editorial judgment based on the types of work identified above—not an official list from Lifetime or another authority.
