Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →No reliable five-platform ranking—or evidence of dependable passive income—can be established from the available provider terms. The two services with useful, distinct documentation here are BitFuFu, which describes paid hashrate plans, and NiceHash, which describes a hashrate marketplace and says it does not offer cloud mining. They are not directly comparable, and neither set of materials establishes customer net profits.
Why this is not a “top five” ranking
A ranked list implies that several services have been compared on consistent evidence, such as contract terms, full costs, downtime treatment, payout rules, and customer net results. The available primary-source material does not establish five comparable providers or support a ranking by profitability. It also does not establish that any option provides reliable passive income.
Instead, the documented examples illustrate different ways a person might access mining hashrate. BitFuFu describes a paid hashrate plan. NiceHash describes a marketplace where buyers rent hashrate and direct it to a pool; NiceHash says it does not own or rent out mining equipment and does not offer cloud mining. GoMining’s cited terms concern token-related services and subscriptions, but do not establish comparable mining performance or net returns. These distinctions matter: a plan, marketplace, and token subscription should not be treated as equivalent products.
What the documented services offer
| Service and model | What the provider says the customer does | Costs, payouts, and limitations established in the cited material |
|---|---|---|
| BitFuFu: paid hashrate plan | Complete KYC, select a hashrate product and duration, pay fees, and provide a wallet address for mining output, according to its Helpdesk guide. | The guide separates a hashrate rental fee from service fees. A 90-day example at $0.0054 per T per day for 500 T totals $243 for the hashrate fee alone; it is an illustrative calculation, not a current quote or profit estimate. The guide says a suspended service generates no revenue and that the platform will not compensate for the suspended period. The cited payout page, updated June 19, 2026, says users choose Antpool or F2Pool when placing an order, cannot switch pools while hashrate is operating, and bear transaction fees. It describes a BTC threshold above 0.005 BTC for ordinary daily payouts, with different smaller end-of-plan thresholds by pool. Check the live terms before paying. |
| NiceHash: hashrate marketplace | Buyers rent hashrate rather than buy coins and can direct the rented hashrate to a pool, according to NiceHash. | NiceHash identifies marketplace, pool, and withdrawal or exchange fees, and says outcomes depend on pool choice, network difficulty, luck, and coin price. The cited material does not establish a fixed cloud-mining contract or customer net-profit figure. |
| GoMining: token-related services and subscriptions | The cited official terms describe GOMINING token-related services and subscriptions. | The terms updated September 24, 2024 include restrictions on certain miner changes, sale or withdrawal, and account deletion while a subscription is active. Those terms alone do not establish comparable mining performance, net returns, or a basis for ranking it against a hashrate plan or marketplace. |
How to assess costs and payouts before committing money
Calculate net results, not advertised output
Mining output is not the same as profit. Compare expected output with every applicable charge, including the upfront hashrate price, recurring service or operating costs, pool fees, transaction costs, and any withdrawal or exchange fees. BitFuFu’s $243 illustration covers only its example hashrate fee; it is not a full-cost calculation. NiceHash says marketplace, pool, and withdrawal or exchange fees may apply.

Even an accurate gross-output estimate can change. The cited provider materials identify coin price, network difficulty, pool performance or luck, costs, and downtime as factors. BitFuFu specifically says a suspension produces no revenue. Do not treat a displayed rate, past result, or calculator output as a guaranteed return.
Read payout rules before choosing a plan or pool
Check the payout currency, cadence, threshold, transaction charges, and the point at which you can change pools. For BitFuFu, the cited payout page says the pool is selected at order time and cannot be changed while hashrate is operating; users bear transaction fees. Its stated ordinary daily payout threshold is above 0.005 BTC, with separate, smaller end-of-plan thresholds that vary by pool. These are platform terms, not a promise that a customer will reach a threshold or receive a particular return.

Check what happens if service stops or you want to exit
Before paying, establish the contracting entity and its location; whether it owns or operates equipment or brokers third-party hashrate; the payment schedule and full fee stack; contract duration; cancellation or early-exit terms; downtime and maintenance treatment; and any account or withdrawal restrictions. Do not assume that fees pause during an interruption or that you can recover an upfront payment: the cited BitFuFu guide says a suspended period produces no revenue and is not compensated.
Warning signs and claims to treat cautiously
The joint SEC/CFTC alert states: “Claims such as ‘risk-free’, ‘zero risk’, ‘absolutely safe’, and ‘guaranteed profit’ are hallmarks of a fraud.” The agencies describe fraudulent websites that claim to invest in mining farms. Treat guarantees of returns, unusually certain earnings, or pressure to send money quickly as reasons to stop and verify the offer independently.
Rank #3
Regulatory statements also need narrow interpretation. The SEC Division of Corporation Finance’s March 20, 2025 statement addresses certain protocol-mining activity on proof-of-work networks. The SEC page says the staff statement is not a rule, regulation, or guidance and has no legal force or effect. It should not be read as approval of cloud-mining contracts, providers, or investment products.
Keep cloud mining separate from owning a mining rig
Cloud or rented-hashrate arrangements do not mean the customer owns the machines. NiceHash’s marketplace description says buyers rent hashrate without owning equipment. Its separate NiceHash Miner software is a supply-side option: users rent out computing power from their own computer or rig and are paid in Bitcoin. NiceHash notes that the software includes third-party miners and does not guarantee every line of third-party code. That is a different choice from paying someone else for hashrate, and neither should be mistaken for a passive-income guarantee.

Bottom line
The evidence supports explaining two distinct models, not naming five “top” platforms or promising passive income. BitFuFu’s documented example shows why a plan’s advertised hashrate price is only one part of the cost; NiceHash’s documentation makes clear that a marketplace is not a conventional cloud-mining provider. Evaluate the contract, fee stack, payout mechanics, downtime rules, and variability before risking money, and walk away from guaranteed-return claims.
