For an Instacart order, start in the Instacart Help Center or call 1-888-246-7822, the order-support number listed by Instacart. If you checked out on a retailer’s own app or website, contact that retailer instead. For a question about an active delivery, use the order’s chat to message your shopper.
Which Instacart contact route should you use?
First check where you placed the order. Instacart handles orders placed through Instacart.com or the Instacart app; a retailer handles orders placed through its own app or website. Then distinguish an account, payment, or order issue from a question about an order currently being shopped or delivered.

1. Use Instacart’s Help Center contact flow
For an order placed through Instacart, the Help Center is the place to route issues such as a missing item, a charge, a promotion, Instacart+ membership, or an account problem. Open it in the app or on the website, choose the order or topic that matches your issue, then use the help or contact option at the bottom of the relevant help article. Instacart’s available support route depends on the issue and flow; it may open live chat or offer another contact method. See Instacart Help Center.
Have the order details ready so support can identify the right transaction. For problems involving payment or your account, contact support rather than relying on shopper chat.

2. Call Instacart customer support
Instacart lists 1-888-246-7822 for order-related customer help in its Help Center. Check the current contact details there before calling, since support information can change.
For customers who need additional help setting up an account or placing an order, Instacart lists a separate senior and specialized support line: 1-844-981-3433. Its stated hours are daily, 8 a.m.–11 p.m. Eastern Time. See Instacart’s senior support information.

3. Contact the retailer or shopper when that’s the right route
If you ordered through a retailer
If checkout took place in a retailer’s own app or website, contact that retailer to manage the order or resolve an account or payment issue. The retailer manages those order details; the Instacart customer-order support flow is not the route for purchases made directly through the retailer. See Instacart’s guidance.
If the order is being shopped or delivered
For a real-time question about an active Instacart order, use the chat on the order screen to message the shopper. You can review the chat log after the order is complete. If the shopper cannot find the delivery location, Instacart says they may contact you by text or phone. See Instacart’s shopper communication guidance.
