The source material does not establish percentage savings across all items, so the discounts are compared in dollars rather than as a percentage of regular price.
Costco Insider’s archive and Frugal Hotspot’s August coupon-book post identify the promotion dates and examples, while a July 31, 2024 roundup from Eat This, Not That! reports package details for several groceries. What the reported prices do—and do not—tell you
A dollar-off figure alone does not show the best value for every household: package sizes differ, and the sources do not provide a verified regular price for every item. For products bought regularly, compare unit prices and the amount your household can use before buying a warehouse-sized pack. For a durable item such as the wagon, the historical discount does not establish that the same model or price is available today.

The July 2024 roundup said some offers were online and in-store while others were warehouse-only, and that warehouse prices were usually lower than online prices. It did not verify the channel for each item in this selection, so no individual deal is labeled online-only or warehouse-only here. It also noted that prices may vary by location. Keep the late-August Hot Buys separate
Costco also ran a distinct in-warehouse Hot Buys promotion from August 24 through September 1, 2024. Those dates overlap the final two days of the coupon-book window, but Hot Buys was a separate promotion, not an extension of the July 31–August 25 coupon book.
