A carry-on’s name or nominal size alone cannot confirm that it fits a particular airline’s allowance. Before buying, compare the listed exterior dimensions—including wheels and handles—with the airline’s current cabin-bag rules. Also check weight, construction, wheel and handle design, interior organization, and expansion; these affect how well the bag suits a trip, but the roundup did not provide a consistent product-by-product test or comparison score.

How to use the 2025 list when shopping now
- Open the current product listing. Confirm that it is the same model, size, and configuration named in the historical roundup; listings may include multiple variants.
- Check the current total cost. Verify the displayed price, shipping, return terms, and any membership or eligibility conditions. Do not rely on the roundup’s 2025 sale price or claimed discount.
- Match the bag to the trip. Check dimensions against the airline’s current carry-on or checked-bag limits, and consider weight, capacity, materials, wheels, organization, expansion, lock details, and warranty.
- For a set, inspect every included piece. Confirm sizes and features rather than assuming a higher piece count means better value.
