These ten Aldi finds—from salmon and Greek yogurt to plastic wrap and greeting cards—won over EatingWell contributor Kate Morgan, who says she now buys them regularly. Her December 2024 list is a personal account, not a taste test or a current catalog, so treat the recommendations as ideas to check on your next trip rather than guarantees of quality, savings, or availability.
What to know before you shop
Morgan’s recommendations reflect her own tastes and shopping experience. The source gives no standardized product comparisons or consistent current prices, so it can’t establish that these items are cheaper or better than alternatives. Product names can help you look for them, but Aldi’s assortment, packaging, and formulations may change; check your local store and the current package before buying.
10 Aldi products Morgan says became regular buys
1. Fresh Norwegian Atlantic salmon
Morgan had tended to favor wild-caught fish, but says she enjoyed Aldi’s Norwegian farmed salmon broiled, baked, and grilled. That is her cooking and taste experience, not an independent finding about sustainability, safety, or how the fish compares with other salmon.
2. Never Any hickory smoked uncured bacon
She likes this bacon’s cut and mild smoky flavor. The source describes “uncured” in relation to plant-derived nitrates, but does not provide a product label or a nutrition or safety comparison. The wording alone does not establish that the bacon is nitrate-free or healthier than another bacon.

How to use the list when planning a shop
Think of the list as a set of leads, not a promise of savings. Before putting an item in your cart, check whether your local store carries it, inspect the current package when ingredients or product details matter, and compare the shelf price with the alternatives you would otherwise buy. That keeps Morgan’s personal recommendations separate from your own budget and preferences.
