The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II PS5 bundle was a 2022 offer, not a current preorder: reports published September 26, 2022, said it was available through PlayStation Direct ahead of its October 28, 2022 release. Its reported price was $559.99. Current availability has not been verified.
What was included in the 2022 PS5 bundle?
The package paired a 1TB disc-version PS5 with a digital voucher for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – Cross-Gen Bundle. The game voucher covered PS5 and PS4 versions; the bundle was not reported to include a boxed game disc. The console also came with Astro’s Playroom installed. PlayStation LifeStyle’s September 26, 2022 report said the game code included the Final Judgment Bundle, Khaled Al-Asad Operator Bundle, and Oni Operator Pack.
What did it cost, and where was it sold?
PlayStation LifeStyle reported a price of $559.99. GameSpot’s September 26, 2022 report rounded that to $560 and calculated that the bundle was $10 less than buying the console and game separately at the time. That was a contemporaneous comparison, not a current price check. GameSpot reported that the bundle was exclusive to PlayStation Direct.
The announcement and preorder coverage date to September 26, 2022, and the scheduled release was October 28, 2022. Those dates do not establish whether the bundle or any similar offer is available today.

How did the game fit the bundle?
PlayStation described Modern Warfare II as the sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare, with a single-player campaign, multiplayer, and tactical co-op Special Ops. Its US product listing identifies PS4 and PS5 support and October 28, 2022 as the release date: PlayStation’s US game page.
Some launch-era preorder benefits were time-limited. In an August 16, 2022 post, PlayStation writer Daniel Noel said digital preorder buyers could access the campaign up to seven days before launch. That was a 2022 promotion, not a benefit to assume is active now. The original PlayStation.Blog announcement also discussed Open Beta Early Access and game-specific rewards.

What should buyers take from the old offer?
- The advertised package was a disc-based 1TB PS5 plus a digital game voucher; it did not mean the game arrived on a disc.
- The $559.99 figure and GameSpot’s $10 savings calculation apply to the 2022 offer only.
- PlayStation Direct was the reported retailer for that bundle, but the historical reports do not confirm present stock. Check current retailer listings before treating any bundle or price as available.
