Yes. PlayStation Canada lists the PS5 Pro and directs shoppers to online retailers for current price and availability. Canadian product pages are available from Walmart Canada and Best Buy Canada, but a listing alone does not confirm stock near you or verify a $959 price. Check the seller, local availability and final checkout total before buying.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on March 27, 2026, that revised recommended retail prices would take effect on April 2, 2026. Its announcement gives a PS5 Pro price of US$899.99 for the United States and directs shoppers in other territories to local retailers or direct.playstation.com where available. That US figure is not a Canadian price. Sony’s announcement does not state a Canadian PS5 Pro price.
What to check before you buy
- Final price: Confirm the amount at checkout, including taxes, shipping and bundle contents.
- Seller: Distinguish retailer-sold inventory from a third-party marketplace seller.
- Availability: Check shipping to your postal code or pickup stock at your selected location.
- Physical discs: The PS5 Pro is all-digital and has no built-in disc drive. If you need physical games or movie discs, account for the separate compatible drive.
Do you need a separate disc drive?
Yes, if you want to use physical media. PlayStation Canada lists a separately sold Disc Drive as compatible with PS5 Pro. It supports 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD discs, and requires an internet connection to pair during setup. Check Sony’s accessories page for compatibility details.

Why the $959 headline needs a live price check
Sony’s September 10, 2024 launch announcement said the PS5 Pro would launch on November 7, 2024, and listed launch prices for the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Japan. It did not state a Canadian launch price. Those historical figures do not verify today’s Canadian listing. Sony’s launch announcement is useful for the release date, not as evidence of a current Canadian price.
