Textron’s 2025 Fact Book listed a price point of $8.150 million for the King Air 260 and $9.255 million for the King Air 360. These are dated reference prices—not guaranteed quotes, final configured prices, average selling prices, or the full cost of owning and operating an aircraft.

For a purchase, ask Textron or an authorized sales contact for a current quote that identifies the aircraft configuration and what is included. A published reference price should not be treated as the price of a specific delivery.
What used King Airs cost
There is no reliable, comprehensive current transaction-price schedule for used King Airs in the available figures. A March 2025 market report described a tight market for many models and some softness in the King Air 350 market; it is dated context, not a live appraisal or a model-by-model price list. In that report, buyer representative Chip McClure wrote, “The reality is that not much has changed in the past year.” That statement describes the market as of his March 2025 report, not conditions in October 2026. Conklin & de Decker separately lists acquisition estimates of $7.0 million for the King Air 260 and $8.0 million for the King Air 360, but its page does not show a visible as-of date for those figures. For a used aircraft, evaluate the individual airplane rather than relying on its model name or asking price alone. Relevant factors include:
- Year, installed equipment, and how closely the configuration fits your mission.
- Maintenance status and the completeness of the aircraft records.
- Current market comparables and whether a quoted figure is an asking price or a completed transaction.
- An independent pre-purchase inspection and advice from a qualified aviation specialist.
Compare the model with your mission
The King Air 260 and 360 are distinct models, so a specification for one should not be assumed to apply to the other. Textron lists the King Air 260 with up to nine occupants, a maximum cruise speed of 310 ktas, and a maximum range of 1,720 nautical miles. Before comparing prices, identify the payload, range, speed, and cabin requirements that matter for your trips. A less expensive aircraft may not meet the mission, while a more highly equipped aircraft may carry costs that are not apparent from the model designation.

The acquisition price is only one part of the financial commitment. A realistic annual budget needs assumptions for utilization and separate estimates for fuel, maintenance, engine reserves, crew, insurance, and hangar. The figures available here do not establish a current, itemized annual operating-cost estimate, so a single annual total would be misleading.

Ask qualified providers to prepare a budget for the specific model and aircraft, using your expected annual hours, routes, staffing, and location. Keep recurring operating expenses distinct from one-time acquisition and inspection costs.

Get a quote and build a purchase plan
- Choose the model and mission. Specify the payload, range, cabin, and equipment you need rather than comparing only 260 and 360 labels.
- For a new aircraft, request a current, configuration-specific quote. Ask the seller to identify inclusions and the date of the quote; the 2025 Fact Book figures are reference points, not current offers.
- For a used aircraft, obtain aircraft-specific valuation and inspection advice. Review records, maintenance status, equipment, and current comparable aircraft before relying on an asking price.
- Model annual costs separately. Have qualified aviation providers estimate the operating categories that apply to your utilization and location.
