Esports Earnings is a community-driven database for looking up reported tournament prize money by player, game, tournament, team, and country. Its totals are useful for comparing recorded prize results, but they are not a measure of a player’s salary, total income, net worth, or take-home pay.

What Esports Earnings tracks

Esports Earnings describes itself as “a community-driven competitive gaming resource based on freely available public information.” It also says, “The accuracy of this website is dependent on user contributions.” Its records therefore reflect public information compiled by the site, not independently audited financial statements. Read the site’s description and methodology notes.

The database organizes tournament prize-money records into player, game, tournament, team, and country views, including rankings and historical listings. A total shown for a player or team should be read as prize money attributed in the database—not as every dollar the person or organization has earned.

Prize money is not a player’s full income

A ranking based on tournament winnings cannot establish how much a competitor earns overall. Salaries, sponsorships, streaming income, taxes, expenses, and other sources of income are separate from the recorded prize-money figure. The site’s records also do not establish a player’s net worth or how much they personally kept after any team, tax, or other arrangements.

HyperX Cloud III – Wired Gaming Headset, PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Angled 53mm Drivers, Spatial Audio, Memory Foam, Durable Frame, Ultra-Clear 10mm Mic, USB-C, USB-A, 3.5mm – Black/Red
  • Comfort is King: Comfort’s in the Cloud III’s DNA. Built for gamers who can’t have an uncomfortable headset ruin the flow of their full-combo, disrupt their speedrun, or knocking them out of the zone.
  • Audio Tuned for Your Entertainment: Angled 53mm drivers have been tuned by HyperX audio engineers to provide the optimal listening experience that accents the dynamic sounds of gaming.
  • Upgraded Microphone for Clarity and Accuracy: Captures high-quality audio for clear voice chat and calls. The mic is noise-cancelling and features a built-in mesh filter to omit disruptive sounds and LED mic mute indicator lets you know when you’re muted.
  • Durability, for the Toughest of Battles: The headset is flexible and features an aluminum frame so it’s resilient against travel, accidents, mishaps, and your ‘level-headed’ reactions to losses and defeat screens.

For personal-finance comparisons, use precise wording: “most recorded tournament prize money” is supportable; “richest esports player” is not, unless the claim is separately defined and supported with broader financial information.

Why rankings depend on scope and date

Before comparing two totals, check that they cover the same period and category. A game total, a tournament prize pool, and an amount credited to a player are different measures. Rankings can also change as records are added or corrected.

  • TRIFORCE TITANIUM 50 MM DRIVERS — Our cutting-edge proprietary design divides the driver into 3 parts for the individual tuning of highs, mids, and lows—producing brighter, clearer audio with richer highs and more powerful lows
  • HYPERCLEAR CARDIOID MIC — An improved pickup pattern ensures more voice and less noise as it tapers off towards the mic’s back and sides, with the sweet spot easily placed at the mouth because of the mic’s bendable design
  • ADVANCED PASSIVE NOISE CANCELLATION — Sturdy closed earcups fully cover the ears to prevent noise from leaking into the headset, with its cushions providing a closer seal for more sound isolation
  • LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN WITH MEMORY FOAM EAR CUSHIONS — At just 240 g, the headset features thicker headband padding and memory foam ear cushions with leatherette to keep gaming in peak form during grueling tournaments and training sessions
  • VOLUME WHEEL — Its on-headset control makes it convenient to adjust audio levels without having to fiddle with any system or program settings
  • Entity: Is the figure for a player, game, tournament, team, or country?
  • Measure: Is it the event’s total prize pool or money attributed to a competitor?
  • Time window: Is it a monthly snapshot, a specified recorded range, or a cumulative page total?
  • Currency and retrieval date: Are both figures shown in the same currency and taken from pages checked on the same date?
  • Coverage: Do the sources include the same events and apply comparable attribution rules?

For example, Esports Earnings’ Counter-Strike 2 page reported $57,360,729.43 across 913 tournaments for its displayed recorded range of March 30, 2022, through September 27, 2026. That is a site-reported figure for that game and range, not an all-time total across esports or a measure of player compensation beyond recorded prize money. Check the Counter-Strike 2 records.

What the June 2026 snapshot shows

Esports Earnings’ June 2026 monthly page reported the following figures. They describe activity represented in that monthly snapshot, not the whole esports market.

Measure June 2026 site-reported figure How to interpret it
Total prize money $3,341,788.78 Recorded for the month’s listed tournaments
Tournaments 103 Count in the monthly listing
Active players 2,573 Count reported for the monthly snapshot
Mean tournament prize pool $32,444.55 Average; larger events can pull it upward
Median tournament prize pool $2,102.20 Midpoint of the reported tournament prize pools
Mean earnings per player $1,298.79 Average reported player figure
Median earnings per player $200 Midpoint of reported player figures

The gap between the mean and median figures is a reminder that averages can be affected by a small number of large prizes. The median gives a different view of the typical recorded value in that month; neither statistic describes every competitor’s income. View the monthly history.

How to look up a player, game, or event

  1. Choose the right category. Use a player listing for an individual’s recorded prize money, a game page for a game’s tournament records, or a tournament page for an event’s prize pool and results.
  2. Open the relevant ranking or history. Check the page’s labels and any stated dates or recorded range before treating a total as cumulative.
  3. Read the underlying event records. Use tournament entries to see what contributes to a total rather than relying only on a headline ranking number.
  4. Record the retrieval date when comparing. Since records can update, note when you checked each page and compare figures with matching scope.
  5. Keep the claim narrow. Describe the result as prize money reported or attributed by Esports Earnings; do not turn it into salary, personal wealth, or an industry-wide total.

Comparing Esports Earnings with another ranking

Another service also publishes esports earnings rankings, but figures should not be treated as directly comparable unless both sources use the same date, event coverage, category definitions, currency, and attribution rules. The existence of a second ranking alone does not show that either source is more complete or accurate. See Esports Charts’ top-player earnings page.

What the records cannot establish

The reviewed site information does not establish an audit, a complete coverage rate, or a detailed reconciliation method for shared prizes and team awards. Publicly available records can be useful for reference, but a ranking is not a complete financial profile of a player, nor proof that every event or payment is included.
