Emily Cocea told PEOPLE she earns about $1.3 million a year from online adult content. The figure comes from an interview published by AOL on October 16, 2025—not from audited financial records. The profile describes how she built an audience, what she sells, the boundary she keeps, and how she combined the work with school.
What the $1.3 million figure does—and doesn’t—show
In the PEOPLE interview reproduced by AOL, Cocea, who uses the online name “hotblockchain,” said she made about $1.3 million a year posting adult content. She also said she earned about $250,000 in the first year after she began monetizing at 18, and millions in later years. These are claims attributed to Cocea in the interview; the profile does not provide financial documents, an independent audit, expenses, or a breakdown of revenue. The figures therefore should not be read as verified income or take-home pay.

How the profile says she earned money
The account describes several forms of paid activity rather than a single source of income. Cocea said she began building an audience in high school, testing different versions of her online persona across several TikTok accounts and observing audience response. The interview says she later sold exclusive photos and videos, livestreamed study sessions, and personally answered paying subscribers.

Cocea summarized the mix this way: “I would say, first I sell relationships, and second I sell pictures of me looking sexy in bikinis.” That is her description of her own business and audience; the interview does not provide a revenue split among content, livestreams, or subscriber interaction.
The boundary she said she keeps
Cocea told PEOPLE that she had never posted nude content, describing what she posted as “lewd.” The profile presents this as a limit on her own material, not as a general definition of adult-content work or a guarantee about what any platform permits.
