Best fit: choose the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 when you need a larger work screen and materially stronger multitasking; choose the Lenovo Duet 11 when low weight, tablet use and a lower sale price matter most. The discounts below are dated snapshots, not guaranteed live prices, so confirm the exact generation, seller, memory, storage, keyboard and stock before paying.
What is the best Lenovo Chromebook deal?
The deepest documented discount is the Lenovo IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 11 (128GB storage, 4GB RAM), reported at £149.99, down from £349.99, at Amazon during Spring Deal Days on March 12, 2026. Treat that as a historical UK promotion unless the current listing shows the same price and configuration.
The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 (2025) launched at $649 and was reported as low as approximately $389 as newer generations arrived, according to a June 17, 2026 deal roundup. That figure is a US price snapshot and may apply only to particular stock or configurations.
| Model and evidence date | Reported price | Configuration or qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Lenovo IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 11 — March 12, 2026 | £149.99 (was £349.99) | Amazon Spring Deal Days promotion; 4GB RAM/128GB storage; historical UK offer |
| Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 (2025) — June 17, 2026 | About $389 (launched at $649) | US deal report as newer generations arrived; exact sale configuration must be checked |
Compare like with like: a 4GB/128GB Duet 11 is not a performance equivalent to a 16GB Chromebook Plus 14. Currency, taxes, delivery, returns and keyboard inclusion can change the real cost.

Choose the Chromebook Plus 14 for sustained school or work use
The Plus 14’s 14-inch workspace is better suited to side-by-side documents, browser-heavy research, spreadsheets and video calls. Google’s June 23, 2025 announcement described the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra, an NPU rated up to 50 TOPS, Dolby Atmos, optional OLED and a fingerprint scanner, alongside the up-to-17-hour battery claim. Those features target a laptop replacement rather than a secondary tablet.
Do not assume every current “Chromebook Plus 14” has the 2025 launch hardware. Lenovo’s later US pages show Gen 10 14-inch MediaTek variants with configurations up to 16GB LPDDR5X. Read the processor and generation in the listing before comparing a clearance 2025 unit with a newer model.

Choose the Duet 11 for travel, reading and light schoolwork
At 0.51kg and 7.6mm before keyboard considerations, the Duet 11 Gen 9 is easier to carry than a conventional 14-inch laptop. Its detachable keyboard lets it switch between tablet and typing modes, making it practical for travel, notes, streaming and short assignments.
The reported 4GB/128GB configuration is inexpensive but modest. It is best for a limited number of browser tabs and lightweight apps; buyers expecting heavy multitasking should budget for the Plus 14 instead. Confirm the 1920×1200 IPS panel, Kompanio 838 processor and included keyboard on the exact offer.

How low does the Chromebook Plus 14 go on sale?
The documented low is approximately $389 for the 2025 model in a June 2026 roundup, compared with its $649 launch price. That is not a permanent list price or a guarantee for every retailer. Clearance pricing can vary by RAM, storage, display, processor generation and return policy.
- Check whether the listing says 2025, Gen 10 or another generation.
- Match RAM and storage before calling one price cheaper than another.
- Confirm whether the seller is authorized, the item is new, and the return window covers your purchase.
- Calculate sales tax, delivery and any required accessories.
Is the Lenovo Duet 11 good for travel or school?
Yes, when portability and basic tasks outrank performance. The 11-inch tablet format, 0.51kg starting weight and detachable keyboard reduce bag weight and allow tablet use. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 are documented for the Duet 11M889/Gen 9 family.

And Backlit keyboard for easy typing in dim or dark locations.
For school, check the institution’s required apps and browser extensions. ChromeOS handles web-based work well, but a 4GB model can feel constrained with many tabs, video meetings and Android apps open together. A larger Chromebook Plus 14 is the safer choice for daily multitasking.
Check support life before buying
Google’s Auto Update policy lists the Chromebook Duet (11-inch, 9) through June 2034. Chromebook Plus support dates are not interchangeable: Google lists a Chromebook Plus Enterprise m (14-inch, 11) entry through June 2036, but that is an enterprise listing and is not a guaranteed date for every consumer Chromebook Plus 14. Use the exact model identifier from the retailer or Lenovo before relying on a support date.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteA buyer’s checklist for either deal
- Record the country, currency and date of the advertised price.
- Verify the full model name, generation, processor, RAM and storage.
- Confirm screen type and resolution, especially if an OLED or 1920×1200 panel matters to you.
- Check whether the Duet keyboard, charger and any stand or cover are in the box.
- Review seller, stock status, warranty, taxes, delivery and returns.
- Compare the final delivered cost with a current Plus 14 or Duet 11 alternative rather than an old list price.
The Bottom Line
Buy the Duet 11 when the verified price is close to the documented £149.99-style bargain and you value a light tablet with a keyboard. Buy the Chromebook Plus 14 when your work or study needs a larger display, more memory and stronger multitasking; a verified 2025 clearance price near $389 can be compelling, but generation and configuration determine whether it is truly a bargain.
