The 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz starts at $59,995 MSRP in the US for the Pro S trim. Volkswagen’s example price sheet adds a $1,550 destination charge, bringing that example total to $61,545 before taxes, title, dealer charges, options, and accessories. The dealer sets the actual price.
What does the $59,995 ID. Buzz price include?
Volkswagen lists $59,995 as the 2025 ID. Buzz’s starting MSRP for the Pro S. The company’s technical sheet gives this example breakdown:
| Price component | Amount |
|---|---|
| Starting MSRP, Pro S | $59,995 |
| Destination charge in Volkswagen’s example | $1,550 |
| Total MSRP including that destination charge | $61,545 |
The $61,545 figure is not an out-the-door price. Volkswagen says MSRP excludes taxes, title, other options, and dealer charges, and that the dealer sets the actual price. The figures are for the 2025 model year in the United States; confirm the current model-year price and destination charge with Volkswagen or a dealer before budgeting.

What do you get with the Pro S?
The advertised starting price identifies the Pro S as the entry trim, but it does not establish a complete, itemized list of standard equipment or the price of higher trims. Volkswagen’s published figures do highlight some of the van’s practical capabilities:
- Cargo space: Volkswagen lists 145.5 cubic feet when the second row is folded and the third row is removed. That figure depends on this seating configuration.
- Acceleration: Volkswagen claims 0–60 mph in 6 seconds with available 4MOTION all-wheel drive.
- DC fast charging: Volkswagen says charging from 10% to 80% can take 26 minutes using 200 kW DC fast charging. Actual charging time depends on conditions and charger performance.
These figures are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. Check the window sticker for a specific vehicle to confirm its equipment and options.

What other costs should buyers budget for?
Destination is only one cost beyond the starting MSRP. Taxes, title, dealer charges, options, and accessories can raise the amount due. Home charging may also add costs: Volkswagen says EVSE charging hardware is sold separately, and installation may require additional wiring and labor. Ask an installer to assess the home’s electrical setup and provide a quote before including charging equipment in your budget.
Roof racks and attachments
Volkswagen says roof-rack attachments require base carrier bars, and accessories are sold separately. If you plan to carry cargo on the roof, check that the bars and attachment fit the specific model year and configuration; include both in your cost estimate rather than assuming a rack attachment is included.

How should you use the starting price when shopping?
- Confirm the vehicle and model year. The $59,995 starting MSRP and Volkswagen’s $1,550 destination example are for the 2025 US model.
- Request a complete written quote. Ask the dealer to show MSRP, destination, options, taxes, title, and dealer charges separately. MSRP alone does not determine the transaction price.
- Add planned extras. Price any roof carrier bars and attachments, and obtain an estimate for home EVSE equipment and installation if needed.
- Compare total costs on the same basis. When comparing vehicles or trims, use quotes with the same treatment of destination, options, taxes, and fees. The published starting MSRP is a useful entry point, not a final-price promise.
