Gisele Bündchen reportedly bought a 7.5-acre equestrian property in Southwest Ranches, Florida, for $9.1 million in 2023. Coverage connected the purchase to her daughter’s interest in horses and a place to ride in privacy, though it does not establish that as Bündchen’s sole reason.
Why did Gisele Bündchen buy a horse farm?
A September 2023 Boston Globe summary of a People interview said Bündchen’s daughter’s enthusiasm for horses led her to buy a horse farm where she could ride privately. The Globe quoted Bündchen describing her daughter’s ambition: “She’s like, ‘Mom, I’m going to be a professional horseback rider.’ That’s all she wants to do.”
That reporting gives a family and riding-related explanation, not proof that privacy or her daughter’s interests were the only motives behind the purchase.
How much did the ranch cost?
Local 10 reported in 2023 that Bündchen paid $9.1 million for the 7.5-acre Southwest Ranches property, citing public records. The outlet also quoted listing agent Chad Bishop as saying she planned to keep horses, chickens and other farm animals there.
