The TNPSC Group 2 result for Notification 08/2024 is available through the commission’s official Results index. Although “2024” identifies the notification cycle, the Group IIA and Group II marks-and-rank links are dated 5 May 2025 and 15 May 2025, respectively. Choose the link for your service group and recruitment stage.
Where to check the TNPSC Group 2 result
Use the official TNPSC Results index. Find the row labeled “08/2024 | COMBINED CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION- II IN GROUP II AND IIA SERVICES,” then select the applicable Group II or Group IIA result link and stage. The index provides separate marks-and-rank links for the two groups; it is not one shared result PDF.
- Open the TNPSC Results index.
- Locate the entry for Notification 08/2024, Combined Civil Services Examination-II in Group II and IIA Services.
- Match your service group and the stage you need, then open its corresponding link.
- Follow any instructions on the linked TNPSC page or document to check your own record.
The index labels links by stage and date, but those labels alone do not establish an individual candidate’s status or guarantee that a particular link will remain accessible.

Group II and Group IIA: choose the right result
The official examination name covers both Group II and Group IIA services, but TNPSC lists separate marks-and-rank links and dates. Check the group you applied for rather than assuming a Group II link applies to Group IIA, or vice versa. The Group IIA main-examination date shown in the index is 8 February 2025, forenoon.
What “2024” means in this result announcement
“2024” refers to the notification cycle, not the calendar year in which both marks-and-rank links were posted. TNPSC lists Notification 08/2024 as dated 20 June 2024, while the Group IIA and Group II result links carry dates in May 2025. The official notice identifies the recruitment as the Combined Civil Services Examination-II in Group II and IIA Services.

TNPSC also issued press release 82/2024 concerning Group IIA recruitment under Notification 03/2022. That is a different cycle from Notification 08/2024, so do not use its certificate-verification or counselling information as the result for this examination.
