Endeavor Catalyst announced an oversubscribed $320 million Fund V on October 6, 2026, bringing its reported assets under management above $850 million. The organization says Europe is now its fastest-growing market, though that description reflects Endeavor’s own reporting and lacks a published comparison methodology.
What Endeavor Catalyst announced
Endeavor says Fund V’s $320 million close takes the fund’s total assets under management above $850 million. The $320 million is the size of this new fund; it is not the same as the organization’s total assets under management. Endeavor’s October 6, 2026 announcement describes the fund as oversubscribed.
Catalyst is a co-investment vehicle for companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs. On its official fund page, Endeavor Catalyst describes its approach as rules-based. Endeavor says Fund V plans to invest 10% of a financing round and estimates that its $320 million could attract at least $3.2 billion in fresh capital to those companies. That is the organization’s projection, not a reported result or an independently verified estimate.
Why Endeavor says Europe is growing quickly
Endeavor’s September 2, 2026 release reported 84 European portfolio companies across 10 markets, with $104.3 million in direct Catalyst investment as of Q2 2026. The 84 companies represented 20% of Endeavor Catalyst’s global company portfolio in that snapshot. The release also said those companies raised more than $8.3 billion during 2025 and the first half of 2026. The release’s figures divide that total into more than $3.2 billion in rounds Catalyst joined and more than $5.1 billion in other rounds.

Those categories matter: money raised by a company is not necessarily money invested by Catalyst. The $104.3 million figure is Endeavor’s reported direct investment in Europe, while the $8.3 billion-plus figure covers capital raised by portfolio companies, including rounds Catalyst did not join.
A later announcement carried by Yahoo Finance on October 7 described Europe as Catalyst’s “fastest-growing market” and reported more than 90 investments across 10 European markets, with 20 portfolio companies valued at $1 billion or more. That October announcement gives a later snapshot and counts investments, not the 84 companies in September’s Q2 snapshot. The two figures measure different things at different dates and should not be treated as a direct contradiction or interchangeable tally.

What the growth claim does—and does not—show
The available figures show substantial reported activity in Endeavor Catalyst’s European portfolio: direct investment, companies raising capital, and a later count of investments and billion-dollar valuations. They do not establish that Europe is objectively the fastest-growing venture market under every possible measure. Endeavor’s October announcement does not publish the comparison methodology behind the superlative, and the figures are organization-reported rather than independent market-wide measurements.
In its September release, Endeavor Catalyst Managing Partner Allen Taylor described Europe as having “an abundance of dynamic markets where entrepreneurial talent is rich, but global support is not.” The quote expresses the organization’s rationale for investing; it is not a quantified assessment of capital availability across the region.

How to read the fund’s broader scale figures
Endeavor’s affiliated pages report additional aggregate figures, but these describe the organization’s wider portfolio and network rather than Fund V alone. The official Fund V page lists at least $850 million in AUM, 900 or more limited partners across 40 or more markets, and 39 exits. Endeavor’s Catalyst page separately lists more than 435 investments across 40 or more markets, 83 companies valued at $1 billion or more, and 39 realized exits. These are figures displayed by Endeavor and its affiliated fund pages, not independently audited measures.
