There is no verified October 7, 2026 stock update for either console in the available retailer reporting. The latest located PS5 Pro snapshot is from September 17, 2026, when Tom’s Guide reported the standard model out of stock new at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and PlayStation Direct. That dated report is a checklist, not a live inventory signal. For the PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary bundle, official product information confirms the limited-edition package, but not its current availability.
Where to check PS5 Pro stock
For a standard PS5 Pro, check each retailer’s listing directly and confirm that the item is new, sold by the retailer or a clearly identified seller, and priced as expected before checkout. Tom’s Guide’s September 17, 2026 stock report found the new console unavailable at the retailers below; GameStop’s listings varied and included pre-owned or refurbished consoles. Inventory can change, so none of those findings establishes what is available today.

These retailer findings come from Tom’s Guide’s September 2026 PS5 Pro stock report; they are not a live October 7 check. PlayStation’s US console page lists the standard PS5 Pro with 2TB storage and highlights advanced ray tracing and higher frame rates in PS5 Pro-enhanced games (PlayStation US console page).
Where to check the PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary restock
Start at PlayStation’s official 30th Anniversary Collection page and your regional PlayStation Direct storefront, then check participating retailers in your country. PlayStation says supplies are limited at select participating retailers, but the available official information does not verify stock on October 7, 2026 at any specific seller.

The Slim anniversary console is a Digital Edition bundle, not the standard PS5 Pro or the numbered 30th Anniversary Pro. Its package includes a limited-edition controller, a disc-drive cover, a vertical stand, and collector extras. The official page says 12,300 numbered units are available globally for the 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro; that figure applies to the Pro anniversary bundle, not the standard PS5 Pro.
A previous Slim bundle restock at PlayStation Direct was documented on October 29, 2024, and the bundle sold out during that event. That historical restock does not confirm a new allocation or future restock date (Tom’s Guide October 29, 2024 restock coverage).

| Console | What distinguishes it | Availability evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Standard PS5 Pro | Standard console; PlayStation’s US listing specifies 2TB storage and describes performance features for PS5 Pro-enhanced games. | Tom’s Guide’s September 17, 2026 snapshot found new stock unavailable at five major retailers; it is not current inventory. |

| PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary | Numbered limited-edition bundle, distinct from the standard Pro. | PlayStation says 12,300 units are available globally; this is not a standard Pro stock figure. |
Use regional listings and treat old dates as history
PlayStation’s September 2024 preorder announcement named the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria as regions with direct.playstation.com. It set October 10, 2024 as the participating-retailer preorder date for the Slim anniversary bundle. Those dates describe the original launch schedule, not an upcoming preorder window. Use the PlayStation storefront for your country and local retailers for current listings (PlayStation.Blog preorder announcement).
When comparing listings, make sure the product name matches the edition you want. Record the date and time you checked, the region, whether the listing is new or pre-owned, who sells it, and the price shown at checkout. This helps distinguish an actual retailer restock from a marketplace listing for a different model or bundle.
