AI data-center spending is showing up most directly in NVIDIA’s results: for the quarter ended July 26, 2026, the company reported $89.0 billion in data-center revenue, up 117% year over year. The effects reach beyond accelerator platforms to chip manufacturing and packaging, high-bandwidth memory, and semiconductor equipment—but suppliers report different parts of that chain, and their company-wide results do not show how much revenue came specifically from NVIDIA or AI data centers.
What does AI data-center demand mean for Nvidia?
For NVIDIA, the clearest measure in the available company results is data-center revenue. In its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results, NVIDIA reported $89.0 billion for the quarter ended July 26, 2026, within $96.2 billion of total revenue. The company said data-center revenue rose 117% year over year, attributing the increase to the Blackwell Ultra ramp and demand across hyperscalers, AI-native customers, enterprises, and sovereign customers.
That result follows a rapid increase across the prior fiscal year. NVIDIA reported $215.9 billion in total revenue for fiscal 2026, up 65% year over year; its fourth-quarter data-center revenue was $62.3 billion, up 75% year over year. Fiscal-year revenue and a single quarter’s data-center revenue cover different periods and measures, so they should not be compared as though they were the same metric.
CEO Jensen Huang described the commercial logic in NVIDIA’s August 26, 2026 results announcement: “AI has reached its inflection point. It’s doing useful work. Its tokens are productive and profitable. Now, compute is revenue.” That is management’s characterization of the market, while the reported revenue figures are the company’s results.

How does data-center spending reach semiconductor suppliers?
A data-center operator’s spending can support several layers of the semiconductor ecosystem. NVIDIA sells accelerator platforms directly into that demand. Those systems also rely on chip manufacturing and advanced packaging, memory such as high-bandwidth memory (HBM), and the manufacturing equipment used by chipmakers to expand or upgrade capacity.
The effects do not appear in every supplier’s accounts at the same time or in the same way. A supplier may report a company-wide quarterly result, management commentary about AI demand, a capacity plan, or guidance for a future quarter. Those are different kinds of evidence. None should be read automatically as a measure of NVIDIA-derived revenue.

Which semiconductor suppliers benefit from AI data-center demand?
The companies below have reported results or described business channels relevant to AI demand. Their figures are not directly comparable: they cover different currencies, periods, business segments, and evidence types.
| Company and supply-chain layer | Reported result or statement | What it establishes—and what it does not |
|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA: accelerator platforms and data-center systems | For the quarter ended July 26, 2026, NVIDIA reported $89.0 billion in data-center revenue, up 117% year over year, and $96.2 billion in total revenue. It attributed the data-center increase to the Blackwell Ultra ramp and demand across several customer groups. | A direct company-reported measure of NVIDIA’s data-center business. It does not quantify supplier revenue elsewhere in the chain. |
| TSMC: foundry manufacturing and advanced packaging context | TSMC reported US$35.90 billion in actual revenue for Q1 2026. Its results page listed US$39.0–40.2 billion as guidance for Q2 2026. | The actual figure is company-wide; the Q2 range is guidance, not a completed result. Neither figure specifies revenue attributable to NVIDIA or AI data centers. |
| SK hynix: DRAM and HBM memory | SK hynix reported revenue of 79.3187 trillion won for Q2 2026. It said record results were driven by high-value product sales amid strong AI demand, reported HBM4 mass shipments, and said it had long-term agreements with around 10 key customers. | Company commentary connects AI demand with high-value memory sales, and the company reported HBM4 shipments. Its overall revenue is not NVIDIA-specific, and the customer agreements do not establish the share of revenue tied to any one customer. |
| ASML: semiconductor manufacturing equipment | ASML reported net sales of €9.3 billion for Q2 2026. CEO Christophe Fouquet linked ongoing AI-related investment with demand for advanced logic and memory chips and customers’ capacity expansion plans. | This is an indirect equipment channel: the statement links AI investment to chip demand and expansion plans, not to a one-for-one change in ASML sales when NVIDIA revenue changes. |
Foundry manufacturing and packaging
Manufacturing and advanced packaging are separate capacity-dependent steps in producing advanced accelerators. TSMC’s Q1 result offers current company-wide manufacturing context, while its Q2 range is forward-looking guidance. Neither number identifies the portion related to NVIDIA, so it would be misleading to treat TSMC’s full revenue as an NVIDIA supplier-sales figure.

Memory
AI systems use memory alongside compute. SK hynix’s Q2 2026 results are the most explicit supplier evidence here connecting high-value DRAM and HBM sales with AI demand. Its report of HBM4 mass shipments is a product-deployment statement; it does not reveal how much HBM revenue came from NVIDIA or any other individual customer.
Manufacturing equipment
Equipment makers can be exposed when chipmakers invest in capacity for advanced logic and memory. ASML’s CEO described that demand connection, but equipment orders, installations, and recognized sales need not coincide with a semiconductor customer’s accelerator revenue. The Q2 net-sales figure is ASML-wide, not an AI-only or NVIDIA-linked amount.

How should you read deployment plans and guidance?
Announcements about future capacity or products can indicate where companies expect demand to go, but they are not completed sales. NVIDIA said AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure were expected to deploy Vera Rubin-based instances. That is an expectation stated by NVIDIA, not proof that deployments have occurred, a measurement of their eventual scale, or a supplier revenue forecast.
Similarly, TSMC’s US$39.0–40.2 billion Q2 2026 range is guidance. It should remain separate from the US$35.90 billion Q1 actual result. Management commentary, deployment announcements, and guidance help explain expectations; they do not replace reported results.

What can investors infer—and what remains unknown?
The strongest direct demand evidence is NVIDIA’s reported data-center revenue growth. For other companies, the evidence is more indirect: company-wide foundry revenue and guidance, memory results tied by management to AI demand, or equipment commentary about customer expansion. These data points show relevant exposure, but they do not create a consistent basis for ranking suppliers by NVIDIA-specific revenue or by the amount of AI demand each captures.
Revenue growth alone also does not establish a company’s future profitability, valuation, or share-price performance. The figures here do not provide a supplier-by-supplier accounting of AI sales, nor do they establish what investors should pay for those sales. For a personal-finance decision, treat demand exposure as one business factor to investigate—not as a forecast of investment returns.
