What happened to NADC Burger in Dallas?
The Uptown location shut its doors on September 29, 2026. Sarah Blaskovich reported the closure for The Dallas Morning News; the report was republished by DiningAndCooking.com on October 6. The McKinney Avenue shop had opened in mid-2025 in a former two-story bar, which crews renovated in 21 days, according to the report.
Why did the restaurant close?
Humes told The Dallas Morning News the closure followed “an issue with the lease/landlord that we were unable to resolve.” The reporting did not specify what the lease or landlord issue involved, so its precise cause remains unclear.
What was NADC Burger?
NADC stands for “Not A Damn Chance.” The brand says it began as a 2021 collaboration between professional skateboarder Neen Williams and chef Phillip Frankland Lee, who bonded over skateboarding and cooking before developing a Wagyu cheeseburger.

NADC’s official description says the signature burger has two 3-ounce Wagyu patties, cheese, secret sauce, onions, pickles and slightly tamed jalapeños. The current brand menu describes single and double burgers, fries, Beast Mode Fries and cookies. These details describe the brand’s offering, not an independent review of the food.

Humes said he would consider looking for other locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. That is a possibility, not a confirmed replacement site or reopening plan. Check NADC’s official locations page or ordering page for current locations and service availability before making a trip.
