The key missing information is the provider behind HK$30.23 and the previous dated consensus figure used to calculate the stated 15.22% increase. Without those details, the percentage change cannot be reproduced, so it should not be treated as an established market fact.

Before relying on a reported change, check that the comparison uses a consistent provider and basis. A percentage increase is meaningful only when the current and prior target values belong to the same comparable series.

- Estimate type: Confirm that both figures are consensus averages, not a consensus on one date and an individual broker target on another.
- Coverage: Note how many analysts contribute; the count can change as coverage updates.
- Currency and method: Keep the currency consistent and check how the provider defines its average.
- Share-price comparison: If assessing implied upside, pair the target with the share price from the same provider and a matching date. Do not combine a target from one source or date with a quote from another.
Company results are context, not proof of a target revision
Chervon describes itself as a global provider of power tools and outdoor power equipment. Its brands include EGO, FLEX, SKIL, DEVON and X-TRON.
