Dahl joined CNH on September 14, 2026, and transitioned into the North America Commercial leadership role on October 1. The company announced the appointment on September 18. What is changing—and what has not been announced?
The appointment is a leadership succession. CNH has not announced a specific product, dealer, or operating-strategy change tied to Dahl’s arrival, and the announcement provides no independent sales, market, dealer-count, or performance figures with which to measure an expected business impact.
CNH’s announcement describes Dolan’s tenure as including an expansion of his responsibilities in January 2025 to include New Holland Construction, and says the brand added North American dealers and locations during that period. The company also points to the CASE Minotaur DL550 compact dozer loader, subcompact equipment, and continued electric-equipment development as examples of product activity. Those examples provide company-reported context, not evidence of what Dahl will prioritize.

Dolan said the decision to retire was “certainly bittersweet,” describing CNH as an important part of his career. Dahl said he was honored to build on the foundation Dolan and the CASE and New Holland Construction teams established. CASE also said it expects to mark its 185th anniversary in 2027.
