Smart-ring maker Oura postponed its IPO, citing “uncertainty in the IPO market,” according to the roundup. Anshel Sag, principal analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, doubted that explanation: “I really believe that there’s something else that’s causing them to pull out of the IPO, and I don’t think it’s the market,” he said, adding, “I just can’t nail what it is.” Sag’s view is speculation, not confirmation of another reason.

What the roundup says about Gen Z and sports betting
The roundup reported that roughly two-thirds of Gen Z investors participate in sports betting, citing an unnamed survey released in August 2026. It also said another survey found Gen Z investors more likely to view betting as an investment. What Novig reported after its “Just Sports” campaign
Novig co-founder Jacob Fortinsky told CNBC that trading volume nearly doubled in the 20 days before and after the company’s Sydney Sweeney “Just Sports” campaign, while first-time depositors rose by more than 200%. These are company-reported figures relayed in the roundup; it provides no baseline or independent verification. The timing alone does not show that the campaign caused the changes.
