On Amazon.com, try Account & Lists > My Lists > Find a List or Registry, then search the person’s name. Amazon documents this route, but a name search may not find every list or may not be available in every interface. If you cannot locate the right list, ask the person to share its link directly.

Select Find a List or Registry and enter the person’s name. Amazon’s US guidance says you can search by name; if the finder offers filters, use relevant details to narrow results. A name search does not guarantee that a list will appear. Amazon’s Wish List guidance

Check the result carefully to make sure it belongs to the person you know before opening it or buying anything from it.

Can I find an Amazon Wish List by name?
Sometimes, but do not assume every list is searchable. Amazon’s official US guidance describes a name-search option. However, an Amazon staff forum answer from February 1, 2021 said public Wish List search on Amazon.com had been removed and described a request-access route instead. Because that answer is historical and the published guidance describes a different flow, the practical approach is to try the current finder and use a direct share if it does not work. What if the list does not appear?
Ask the owner to share a link
This is the clearest fallback: the owner controls whether and how to share the list, and Amazon supports sharing by link, email, or text. Amazon UK’s guidance likewise says Wish Lists remain private until the owner is ready to share. Do not try to get around a private list; ask the person directly. Amazon UK Wish List guidance
Check for a “Your Friends” request option
Some Amazon.com interfaces may offer a way to request access from Your Friends. Amazon staff forum instructions from 2021 describe choosing Email this message to ask the person for access. Treat this as a possible, date-sensitive option rather than a control guaranteed to appear in the current interface. That staff answer said a granted list could take up to 15 minutes to appear under Your Friends; this is a 2021 estimate, not a current service guarantee. Amazon Customer Forums

Is a registry different from a Wish List?
Yes. Wedding and baby registries have a separate finder, so use Amazon’s registry search rather than assuming the ordinary Wish List search works the same way. Amazon says that if a registry is not public, contact the registrant and request a direct link. Amazon registry guidance

Amazon UK says gift givers viewing a UK Wish List can see the recipient’s name, city, and county, while the street address is hidden. The owner may allow the address to be shared with third-party sellers for fulfillment. These details are specific to Amazon UK; they should not be assumed to apply identically in every marketplace.
